Best QS meals

We have an upcoming trip in April and this is the first time we aren't on the Deluxe plan as we opted to just pay for our meals due to the fact that we would have to pay the cost for one of our children (3 & 1) and they aren't worth the cost of the Deluxe plan.

So with that said, we have made some reservations at the places we knew we wanted to eat at and plan to do QS meals the rest of the time. The trip is a shorter trip (for us) and we plan to only visit Epcot, DHS and of course the Magic Kingdom.

So what are your favorite QS places to eat at?

Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney. You would think it was TS, but it's actually QS!

I second the Columbia Harbour House, really good tuna fish sandwich. Also, we really like the QS at the Poly last year. It was a Hawaiian BBQ sandwich and we got the Dole Whip too! Yummy!

MK: Columbia Harbor House. The entire family liked the humus
Epcot: England: Yorkshire Fish Shop. Mmmm, Fish and Chips
AK: Flametree BBQ. Not top quality Ribs, but tasty
HS: I could not recommend a single place for a QS here.. although many people would differ in this opinion.

For MK, our faves are Columbia Harbor House and Cosmic Ray's.
Epcot we loved Yakitori House.
DHS we enjoyed Backlot Express and Studios Catering Company.

DHS--Backlot Express--this sandwich was very good!!---Grilled Vegetable Sandwich - Toasted roll, mushrooms, red peppers, zucchini, tomato, watercress, and cheese. - $8.39

DTD--we also love--Earl of Sandwich--still talk about it and wish we could have one near where we live.

MK--Don't care for any of the food much but really like the atmosphere at
Pinnochicos Haus-Very Cute--We usually eat the pizza (typical Disney pizza)

Epcot--If we are in Future area we eat at Sunshine Seasons and if we are in WS we eat in the American or new Mexican CS.

I love CHH and I especially love the tuna sandwich and I do not eat tuna sandwiches anywhere but here.

DHS- Nothing really worth going to or worth exalting any type of praise over. Perhaps Starring Rolls but very and I mean very limited selection of cold sandwiches.

AK- Flame Tree ( but you are not going to this park)

DTD For sure it's Earl of Sandwich for breakfast or lunch!

Yes and yes! Wolfgang Puck Express is beyond excellent. You order at the register then take a seat in a nice area with tables and booths (also outdoor seating). They bring your food to you and clean up after you. The food the just fantastic!! This is by far our favorite CS place.

The CHH is wonderful because you can get a nice CS meal that doesn't feel too heavy and is actually semi-good for you. The tuna sandwiches are delicious and I very rarely eat tuna. I like the whole grain bread they serve it on.

The adult chicken fingers at Restaurantasaurus in AK are very good. You can also get free refills of your sodas there.

Here are my money saving tips:

1. You can share a double bacon cheeseburger from counter service restaurants by ordering an extra bun. The buns vary in cost from $0.50 to $3.00. If you’re at a place with a good toppings bar like Pecos Bill’s this is a really great way to share meals and save some money.
2. You don’t need to spend $2.50 on a bottle of Dasani to keep hydrated. The counter service restaurants (or anywhere that sells fountain sodas) will give you a free glass of ice water if you ask.

Agreed. Boo to the CS offerings at DHS. We usually go to Pizza Planet or just leave the park entirely and go to DTD for Wolfgang Puck Express.
