Best Princess Meal?

When we went on a Disney cruise in December, our DDs did NOT like the characters except for the princesses (I think it's the big heads or something). DS LOVES the princesses. He plans on marrying Aurora. When we took him to CA Disneyland we were the only family in line for the Princess Fair (where you meet 3 princesses privately) without a daughter. He didn't care!
Soooo, we are thinking that a character meal needs to have princesses. We are planning to be there in early May (waiting on the Army to give us firm dates when DH will be home). Where is the best place to go (in your opinion) and why? I'm ok with going to a non-park restaurant. We are doing CS Dining plan b/c when the girls are done, they are DONE and for the sake of others we haul butt out of restaurants before the food starts flying!
They did ok with the buffets on the cruise b/c we could leave when we wanted (didn't have to wait to hail a server to bring us a check).
So what do you all recommend?

Just wanted to clarify that we plan to pay out of pocket for this meal since our CS dining plan does not include this.

We really liked the Princess meal in Norway, it's all princesses, every meal, so it is easy to work in the schedule! The princesses were very sweet and friendly and even a bit chatty! We took a photo w/ Belle (included w/meal!!) and then met Jasmine, Mulan, Aurora and Mary Poppins.

We are going to try dinner this trip so we can hopefully meet Ariel. The food is Norwegian so that is a little different to the American palate. There is a cold buffet and then a hot meal. If your crew aren't adventuresome diners, consider breakfast.

It is also magical to eat in the castle, but I think this is a super value.

another vote for Norway. we got our photo taken with belle in her yellow gown at the entrance ( extra cost for photo- but you can take your own!) and then we met snow White, aurora, mulan and Jasmine. This was a fab character meet and relaxing as they come to your table. They also do a nice announcement of your family to welcome you to your table. Oh and Mary Poppins was wandering about outside as wel!

I know it's expensive but my girls and I adored eating in the castle at the CRT meal. We had a late lunch and it was just a perfect way to spend our afternoon. That was in 2006 and they still talk about it all the time.

NORWAY!!! We enjoyed lunch there very much...much more than CRT, and we did that twice (b & l) in one trip. I believe Akershaus is more cost effective for OOP, as you are not paying for the experience of eating at the castle. We also found the princesse at Akershaus spent more time interacting...and this was over Christmas/NY week.

I agree, it is expensive but every little girl should experience the "Castle" We did it a few years ago and I must admit it was magical for me too. I loved the castle

I like Norway but my child also had a great time at 1900 Park Fare at GF. Even though I am not a big fan of buffets, I think they are a great way of pleasing the entire family and having fresh food items at Disney. The characters really were interactive and quite funny.

We had my twin BOYS 4th birthday at Akershus (Norway) and got alot of Princess interaction. They LOVED it! In my PTR, I have posted pics of them with various ones.

Another vote for Norway! We love breakfast here and the princesses are quite charming!

CRT for breakfast was also lovely. Another place to meet 5 princesses.

Another vote for the breakfast in Norway! Delicious breakfast and great interaction with the princesses. This meal includes a picture package with Belle!

CRT for lunch. The cost is a little higher, but there's something about dining in the castle that makes it better. My wife has dressed my daughter up the last couple of times and took her out to the carousel for a ride prior to lunch. This year we'll be doing BBB also.

We have done the Norway Princess Breakfast twice with our 2 nieces and it was incredible both times. Not only is the food very good (yes you can order pancakes) and the kids ate alot but the interaction with the Princesses was fantastic....not only did they pose for pictures but they spent alot of time talking with the girls...not rushing off to the next table.

If I was going with kids I would def book this place!

I love lunch at the Castle...it really is magical and there are a lot of princesses that make the rounds. The food is excellent too...even my husband liked it! Norway is great for breakfast but I did not enjoy it for lunch. We've also eaten dinner at 1900 Park Fare however, Cinderella was the only princess that we saw (along with Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother and the mice).

Another vote for Norway. The breakfast is just awesome. DS2 couldn't stop smiling all day as Aurora gave him a kiss on the cheek.
