My dd just told me today that she wants to eat with the princesses when we go to WDW. I wasn't planning on CRT or the one in Norway(can't think of the name right now)she didn't seem like she wanted to eat with them. So now I'm wondering which is better. Food wise and character interaction wise? Thanks

we haven't done CRT yet (next trip, hopefully), but we loved Norway. The breakfast was great and the princesses were very charming.

If you can . . . do CRT. It is one of those things every little girl should do once in her life. Everyone deserves to eat at Cinderella's Castle.

The food at Norway is a little unique. My girls loved it though. If you book lunch you can see Ariel in walking feet. :)

Both are great - we did both on our most recent trip. If I had to pick one, it would be CRT.

Also, consider dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

And, from what I understand: While the princesses are at Norway all day, only breakfast is traditional "American" food. If she's a picky eater, you might want to keep that in mind.

I'de recommend the princess meal at Arkeshush. They have a lot of princesses that come around to your table for autographs, photo's and sometimes just to visit. We have done CRT for my DD's 8th birthday and I'm glad we did it once just for the experience of dining in the castle. We've discussed it with the kids and none of them want to go back to CRT. They would prefer two character meals to the one meal in the castle.

We are going to do 1900 Park Fare. Cinderella will be there along with her step sisters ( I hear they are really funny!). We just didn't want to use up 2 table service meals at the castle.
My cousin said her girls really enjoyed 1900. They are 7 and 5.

My four-year-old loves Akershus. We were there on Tuesday and saw Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Belle & Sleeping Beauty. I'm not nuts on the food, but I stick to the open-faced salmon sandwich and the seafood bisque. DD got the pasta and meatballs and ate one bite and didn't like it, but she ate a ton of salad and salami from the cold bar. We skipped the photos offered.

Although we will probably do CRT once, this year we are doing Princess Dining in Norway and 1900 Park Fare (dinner). With the dining plan, we would rather do two princess meals for the same amount of credits as one.:)

I would try to do Breakfast at Norway if you can't get into CRT. Anything but the Breakfast food at Norway is very interesting. My mom and I went in 2005 before it was a buffet dinner and were very unhappy with our choice. I'm absolutley sure that if you like traditional Norwegian food it would be fine but we found we didn't like it at all. The interaction there with the princesses was wonderful and I think the tables are a little more spread out. CRT was a lot of fun too. I loved eating in the castle. Cinderella isn't in the resturant though. She is only outside in the lobby doing the pictures.

I'd try for CRT. I agree with an above poster- every little girl should eat at CRT at least once. We've done CRT 4 times and Norway once. While Norway was nice, dd loved CRT and thinks it is a must. She did not even ask about going to Norway this past trip. Eating in the castle with the princesses is priceless if you have a dd who is into the princesses and the magic of it all. DD truly believes Cinderella's room is upstairs. We were there in Jan. and saw Cinderella downstairs and upstairs we saw Jasmine, Snow White, Aurora, and Belle- the perfect line-up according to dd. CRT is so magical. I'd try for CRT and if you can't do that, Norway is a good substitute for seeing the princesses (didn't care for the food at all though- breakfast)

Ariel fish feet or walking feet dd would be over the moon. She phasing out the pincesses(I'm very sad) but Ariel is still her fav!!I'm clinging to my little girl who loves the princesses with all my might..LOL

I think Askerhaus would be the best bet to get princesses, if she wants princesses that what she can get! I love princesses and almost 20...i know...but disney child at heart what can i say. We go to 1900 park fare but that is because my younger sis is a picky eater, and the interaction is great. The breakfast at Askerhaus is great though.
