We are considering purchasing new luggage for upcoming disney trips. Wondering where might be the best place to find decent quality luggage at the best price? Stores or Internet is fine.

I often find higher quality luggage at Tuesday Morning. I've seen Hartmann bags there. Also, check Nordstrom Rack, Saks Off Fifth, and Nieman Marcus Last Call for quality pieces. I saw some Briggs & Riley at Marshals once.

I just bought a new suitcase at Macy's this weekend. They have a lot right now that are on closeout and if you have a Macy's coupon they are valid on closeout. They are also online. I purchased a Revo 29 in hardsided suitcase that had been $360 for a little over $100. It's a very nice piece. Also if you have Stein Mart close they always have good deals on luggage.

I would try ebags as well. I just recently bought 2 new sets from there. Although I haven't used them yet, they appear to be really good quality. One is Nautica brand. I can't remember what the other brand was off the top of my head, but I know that it is well known. TJ Maxx and Marshalls always have some nice pieces but if you are looking for more than one piece ebags might still be the better deal.

Ebags brand is *AWESOME*. They're a little pricey, but totally worth it. The organization on them is amazing, and they have a lifetime 100% no questions asked satisfaction guarantee, even on wear and tear items like zippers or wheels.

ITA. We have 5 different ebag brand bags in different sizes and they are great. Watch their videos on all their features.

I also like their packing cubes.

Luggage Factory is consistently cheaper than other sites for the same luggage (IE: Delsey, Travelpro, American Tourister, etc)

I second Macy's for their deals, quality, and choice. I like to have matching luggage and I found that trying to get every piece I needed at Marshall's, etc., proved to be difficult. (Although, if you are looking for just ONE piece, I'd check Marshall's, Ross, etc.)

I just found a Samsonite hardshell, LARGE suitcase w/ the easy spinner wheels at Ross last week for $90. It is very hit or miss, and it depends on which store you go to. I haven't been into a Ross in maybe a year, but was kinda looking for a suitcase. I figured I have a month to decide if I love it or not. I went into a different Ross and they didn't have any of the hardshell suitcases. The last suitcase I bought was from Tuesday Morning. Nothing against them, but the case I bought was a bad choice. It is a hard side case w/ a TSA approved combo lock built in, but you buckle down the top to shut it. On the very first trip TSA opened it up and didn't close it correctly and it is permanently jacked up. The case I just bought has a zipper all the way around, and you just lock the loops in the zipper together w/ a TSA approved lock.

Luggage at places like Marshalls tend to be closeouts. Some of the pieces are over sized. Bring a tape measure before you purchase.

Cheap luggage sets at places like Walmart are basically cardboard with a fabric covering. Reviewers tell us that those bags may be destroyed after only one flight. Airlines take no responsibility.

You don't need a complete set of luggage. You want a bag that is near the maximum size for a checked bag, maybe 28" or 29". You might want a roller "bin" bag. Check the dimensions. Many of the bags listed as "regulation airline sized" aren't. People flying don't need the intermediate (24") sized bags. Domestically your free checked bag allowance is either one bag (Jetblue), zero (most airlines) or two (Southwest). Internationally your allowance is probably one. You don't want to be checking an extra, smaller bag.

Ebates had ebags as their double cash back today, so you get 12% cash back on ebags purchases made through the ebates site. And ebags prices are great.

Hi. Does anyone know where to find Disney luggage that they sell at the parks for a good price? They are so expensive.:faint: I have seen some cute Disneyish styles at Burlington.

Another big fan of ebags.com especially their packing cubes. We also picked up a new Delsey Helium carry-on at TJMAXX for our trip. Love shopping for luggage!
