Hiya

We are leaving on the 18th October for two weeks. We are flying with Virgin leaving at 12:15.

We have been looking on the net and trying to get some good deals on parking. By chance I received a quote for £137.00 to stay in Holiday Inn Gatwick for 15 day park. Having seen this quote we are now thinking of staying the night before.

Can anyone recommend any sites to get any better deals? Are you staying at Gatwick and received a great deal.

There are so many sites they are all about the same in price. If anyone did get any better quotes, please let me know. Oh and it will be for 2 adults, 1 child and 2 infants (twin boys) :scared1:

We tend to use abcholidayextras & stay at the express holiday inn as it includes b/fast

Thanks. Problem we are having problems finding rooms that accomodate a party of 5, even though two of them will only be 23 months. Fire and safety policy apparently. It may look like we will be just parking at Parking Express.

We in the past have had adjoining rooms at The Le Meridian, with a entry door between the two rooms

We are a family of 5 and have booked corner house hotel -close to gatwick- as they have rooms for five. They have a website so stick corner house hotel gatwick in a search engine. I'm afraid i don't have price with me but not expensive & you park your car there & they take you to airport. hope this helps.

I did a quick google a few weeks ago [sounds exciting!] and after a bit of searching found several hotels in and around the Gatwick area for £100-£120 for a family room. Standalone Parking definately suffers from a 'Southern Phenomenon' with prices not much under £90 and many over £100.

Is it me or has Gatwick pricing for parking risen hugely in the last few years?. I've still got the receipt [sad I know] for offsite parking in 1999 for 2 weeks there at £42!. I find £100 a bit shocking to be honest!

Hiya

We managed to find a quote for APH parking off site for £85.88, BCP (Next to Runway) £103.50 and parking express £121.60.

I think we will be booking APH for £85.88. We have never parked there only Parking express so I am not sure what they are like. :confused3

We are staying at the springfieldguest house in a family room with parking. Also there is the cumberland guest house and lowfieldfamr, not sure what they are like, but their web site looks nice.

Some of the net reviews for this company have been less than favourable with less frequent transfer times etc.....I would take a look at them first because a saving of £20 or so could do irreparable damage to your holiday plans.

If you do go for the more basic operator I would allow at least 40 mins for the transfer.
