We are going to be in Orlando/Kissimmee in September and are thinking of going to Sea World? Does anyone have any ideas as to where to get the best prices/discounts on tickets?

Thanks!

Sandy

SeaWorld honors the Rapid Rewards Membership card by Southwest Airlines.
This is just a membership card (free) and by showing it at the admission ticket office, they give you 20% off on tickets to Sea World.

I have used it twice, recently June 2009. This last time I did not have my RR card with me, but showed them a couple of emails (on my IPhone) from SW in reference to my RR account and they accepted that.

If you have never signed up with Southwest, you can sign up on online and print a temporary card immediately. It is free and you can get the card even if you don't have a flight planned.

You only need one RR card in order to purchase several tickets.

Other than above the SeaWorld website always had the best deal. Adults can go at a child's price if you buy online (print your ticket at home) and you get another day free to use up to a week after. On the day you go you just have to take your ticket to customer service before you leave the park and they'll give you a new ticket.
We've done this, very easy.

Thanks. We are Rapid Reward members--just love Southwest Airlines! We actually did get a pretty good deal from Orlando Attractions. The website is www.orlandoattractions.com. For $106 including taxes per person we did get unlimited admission for 14 days once activated for Sea World, Busch Gardens, and Aquatica. It also included free shuttle from Orlando area to Busch Gardens and back. There was a $5 certified mail charge. We decided to try all three since the price was right and we'll be staying 12 nights at Vista Cay, about 1-1/2 miles to Sea World and Aquatica. It will be toward the end of September so the weather should still be pretty warm for the water park.

I'll keep that in mind for next time, as I never knew that!

Thanks Wanda! That's not a bad deal either through Sea World for 2 days. Since we never have been to Aquatica or Busch Gardens yet, we took advantage of the deal through Orlando Attractions. I think Sea World wanted something like $135 for the same ticket (I'm not sure they were charging tax or not?). So for $106 I felt like we were getting a good bargain. We've never been to Sea World yet either, so we are looking forward to it.

We also bought tickets through Disney for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party--two adults but oh well, looking forward to that too! We attended Mickey's Magical Christmas Party in November and what a great time that was. I don't think we'll dress up though. We love Halloween so it should be a great evening.

Sandy:

So that you will also know for future reference, the Seaworld tickets that we got using the RR Southwest 20% discount also let us use the ticket for a 2nd day free (within the next 7 days).

This discount used to show on the SW website; it no longer shows, but it is still good.
