I know this is not Disney related, but I know the DIS budget board are the best people to ask :thumbsup2

Where can I find the best price on a Keurig brewer? I am looking for the special edition or elite brewer.

I was think Bed, Bath, & Beyond with coupon (unless the coupon excludes these)

Any other ideas?

Thanks!!

I got mine thru QVC. They had special for the platinum brewer a while back for $159, with 4 easy payments. I liked paying for it over 4 months with no interest.

Beware, I purchased mine this past March, and they had to send me a new one last month because it just stopped working. I guess this is common, so make sure you register your brewer, because it has a 1 year warranty.

Kohl's has pretty good prices on the Keurig, especially on sale, I waiting for a 30% off coupon, and got mine with the sale and the coupon, for about $89.00. Definitely worth the wait.

I purchased the B60 model at Sam's Club this past weekend for $129.98. I believe this is the same model as the Special Edition. It came with the my K cup filter to put your own coffee in as well as 36 k-cups. This is the best deal I have found recently.

I am glad somebody asked this, I have decided that I need one. I am the only coffee drinker in the house and I sure missed my coffee maker last year, but I didn't need a 12 cup.

Dunkins Donuts is taunting me with their commercials.

Has anyone seen the Keurig at Costco? Which model/price?

We have a membership there, but I usually send my DH and I can't exactly ask him to look since it a gift for him!

The DD Kcups are VERY expensive (like $.90 a piece!) I think they charge $12 for a 14 pack!!!!!!

I looked online & it is the B70 (Platinum) model. Comes with 60 k-cups & the my k-cup filter for $159.99. This is a very good deal if you are wanting the B70 model!

HTH!

I'm sure a cup of coffee is more than that and I would probably only use one or 2 a week, that $12 isn't going to break the bank. I have heard of other flavors that are available, my cousin likes some kind of hot chocolate.

Because there are so many issues with Keurig brewers breaking down before their time...I'd recommend purchasing at Kohls or Costco, both of whom have excellent return policies.

We had one Keurig die a few years ago. Still under warranty, so they sent us a new one. Within 9 mos the new one started having problems, but they wouldn't send us another one because the one year warranty on the ORIGINAL one was over. They go by your first one, not your replacement one.

I love my Keurig, figured the dying was a snafu, so got a new one at Kohls. It just arrived this year, first week of April. And now is having problems. However, I will go exchange at Kohls for a brand new one, and have a new ONE YEAR warranty from date of exchange at Kohls. I'll keep exchanging if necessary. Kohls can deal with Keurig and make them fix their product.

FYI my husband tried the DD cups and said they are great. And they smell good too

I've had my Keurig since 2006 or 2007, and it's worked great the entire time. Your home's water greatly influences the performance. My parents have well water, and they are on their 3rd or 4th machine. I think they are finally using distiller water, and that's what you have to do if you have hard water at home. I have "city" water, and have never had any problems.

Anyway, QVC is sure to have the Keurig as a TSV again. They usually do around Thanksgiving every year, but I'm just going on their past sales.

A medium coffee at DD is $1.79, but I still think their K-cups are overpriced. I go through Staples now, with the $20 off $75 coupon, and free shipping. It comes out to .34 cents a K-cup, I think, which is by far the best deal I've found in a long time.

Another vote for Kohls. To be honest I can't remember exactly what I paid but I remember I got a fantastic deal. I had a 30% off coupon, and I had some Kohls Cash! :cool1:
As for the DD cups...I bought a box the day they came out...I'm a big DD fan. After I got over the sticker shock I was able to drive back home to try them. They were good, yes, but considering I have 2-3 cups a day, I cannot justify paying $12 a box. Yikes!

I have a 4 cup Mr Coffee and I grind my coffee beans, makes a great cup of budget coffee. Now if I can just fiqure out how to make a good Mocha (like Starbucks does) and I'll be set.

Yes, it is 149.99 not sure which model but it also comes with Alot of coffee - lots of settings - i think 4 or 5 different ones - i have mine since January from their and love it!

I don't actually drink coffee except at home or at work and it is free there. I would never drink $75 worth of coffee and I don't go to Staples for anything. I only drink coffee during the winter months and that may be 3 months out of the year.
