best prices on carseats and strollers?

I've been searching around to get the best deal on a peg perego carseat and stroller but have had a tough time finding places with good deals.

Does anyone know of any sites etc. that have stroller sales often?

I know diaper dot com usually has a sale of some kind going on. They just had their 15% off of Britax car seats a few weeks ago. You can usually find a code for x amount off (usually $10 off an order of $49). Or, if you find a deal online somewhere else, call the diapers dot com number and they'll usually match it. HTH

www.albeebaby.com has good prices and free shipping. We have gotten several things from them. It is especially good if you can find find something in the closeout section.

I don't have the $ for Peg, but all the car seats I've gotten were from BrU.

We usually get a coupon in the mail, and wait for their specials.

Our last convertable for DD, we had a K-B-Toys gift card and they ran a special where if KBT gift card holders brought them into TRU, they would give us a 20% off coupon (we had like $.30 on it). Then BRU ran a deal for a car seat at 20% off i think. So we got a great deal on the Mariposa MArathon carseat.

This last time, we used another 20% off coupon on the new MArathon PElle I think the color is. Real nice. It was actually the floor model, so it went from $200 to $180, plus another 20% off of that.

A CPST here...just wondering why you chose the Peg? It wouldn't be on my list of suggested infant seats. It's safe, as are all seats on the market, but it can be a pain to install, some kids can't tolerate the head wings, it tends to be outgrown early, and it's not a great value for the price they charge. There are many other options for infant carriers that I'd recommend before the Peg. (However, some other seats CAN fit in a Peg stroller and I don't own one but I know they many people do love the strollers.)

If that's what you're going with, though, the places to look would be all of those the other posters have suggested; diapers.com (they will price match), albeebaby.com and Babies R Us with a coupon or trade in deal if you have the time to wait for one of those.

diapers.com will give you 10% off your first order AND price match if you find what you want cheaper somewhere else. I have ordered from albeebaby.com before and they do have lots of specials. I checked with them when I ordered my BJCM stroller a few months ago and they had it on sale. I called diapers.com and they price matched and I got the extra 10% off
They also have free shipping AND free return shipping in case you dont like what you ordered. albeebaby.com charges for return shipping and a restock fee on larger items.

I wanted a specific stroller, so I went on slickdeals.net and searched for it. Nothing current came up, but at that point they give you the option to sign up for deal alerts. I put in stroller as a generic, as well as the brand name separately. I then received an email every time a deal was posted and I did not miss out.

I've received great customer service, super fast shipping, and AWESOME prices on Albeebaby.com so I have to recommend them. I got a $350 Britax Boulevard for my DD for $189 and it shipped and was to my house in 2 days flat. Diapers dot com is where I'm getting my stroller. They have good prices, will price match, and offer free return shipping (which I haven't seen elsewhere). I am so excited because the stroller I had planned to get is now $100 less than it was last weekend. So, I'm going to get it a little earlier than planned, but can't pass up that price!

I'm bummed, though. People have told me over and over that I can get 10% for my first order, but it won't accept any codes. Are sale items excluded? I'd love to save an extra $20 if possible, but the price without is still great.
