We're planning on going to Sea World the Monday after Easter. Where can I get the best price for tickets? Also, what do you think the crowds will be like? Thanks!

When we went in October, we couldn't find any great deals. At the time we just ordered our tickets through the Sea World website, which I believe gave us 10% off, and we could print them from home & bring right to the turnstile.

Sorry, I can't help with the crowds question. Hopefully not too bad!

If you become a Southwest Rewards member (which is free), you can get 20% off the gate price. You just shows your card and they will give you the discount. I think this is the best you can do.

Can I just sign up for that on the Southwest website? And, is there any way I can purchase the tickets with the discount beforehand? I'm figuring it's going to be pretty busy that day and I'd really like to cut out the waiting in line to get tickets.
Thanks!

You can sign-up on-line here is a link:

http://www.southwest.com/rapid_rewards/

As for getting tickets, you need to do this at the gate as far as I know. You could try calling SeaWorld and see if you can do an advanced purchase, but there is no on-line way that I know of.

We asked back when we visited in May, there is no way to get the Southwest discount ahead of time, only at the gate. You may want to consider what the "cost" of your time waiting in line is and then decide whether to purchase tickets in advance and get a 10% discount, or get 20% and have to wait for a while in line to get the tickets. Its a toss-up in my book, but if you think its going to be VERY crowded, I'd just buy in advance and be happy with the 10% I'm getting.

That's what I was thinking. Given the fact that it is spring break for alot of people, I expect it to be pretty busy. With three kids, 7, 4 and 18 months, I don't know if waiting in a long line is worth that $20.
If anyone has been during this time and has any idea about crowd level, please let me know. Thanks!!

there's no FL resident discounts, but you can get into the Passholder program. we love it. :D

Go to www.seaworld.com and look up what they call a funcard. It is slightly more than a one day ticket but it is good for one whole year. Jan 1 - dec 31. You can purchase them directly on the website. Plus seaworld also offers payment plans on their annual passes just like universal does. There are many different levels of the annual passes. Some of their annual passes are combo passes that include other theme parks.

However, that being said. they offer a 14 day pass called a flex ticket . This ticket offers you unlimited entry to 4 or 5 parks.

There is a four park pass: Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Sea World, Wet n' Wild.

There is a five park pass: Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Sea World, Wet n' Wild, Busch Gardens.

These two options are very nice because you only have have to have one ticket for all the parks. And you can by them inadvance. Check on sea worlds website to purchase them.

the flexticket is a sweet option, but once you activate it, it expires 14 days later. before we moved here, that's what we used.

Does anyone know the AAA discounts, if any?

Also, doesn't Travelocity offer discounts on passes sometimes?

Can you get a 20% discount with rapid rewards if you buy Silver passports at the gate or is the discount just for 1 day passes? Thanks

SeaWorld Orlando AAA Single-Day Ticket

*Prices shown include AAA Member discounts.

Adult $48.56
Child (Ages 3-9) $40.46

Can be purchased as an eticket on AAA website if you are a member.

Ask questions before buying from AAA. The tickets being sold by my local office have expiration dates!

Is the Rapid Rewards card the one that comes up after you sign up? It shows a card with my name on it and a sissor around it, is this the card you show?
Thanks.

Yes, you can use the paper card (or so I have heard) or the plastic one that comes later.
