Best price on Cricut?

I haven't posted here in a long time but thought that maybe you could help. I wanted to buy a Cricut for my daughter for her birthday. For some reason, I thought that they had lowered the price on the smaller model to $99, but when I went to look for one today, Hobby Lobby had the original for $194, Micheals had the Create for $299 and they both had the big one for $399. Did I just dream of the lower price? Does anyone know where I can get them for any less than what Hobby Lobby or Micheals are selling them for? We don't have AC Moore around here.

I was at Michael's last week and I thought it was still $99. You may be able to find that price online (and a lot of places have free shipping over $100).

Check Joanns..I think they are having a sale sometime this week (Fri. or Sat.) and the original Cricut is $99. They might have it online if you don't have a Joanns near you.

Do a google search for cricut machine. There is a page that should come up called ArtsNCrafts Bug. They have tons of the machines..used at various prices. The other idea would be to check the cricut site. Also check the micheals site. I just checked and can't see a price with a quick check but that would be an idea..Good luck.

I called Joanns and they told me that it will be on Clearance on Friday. I wonder if that means they will be discontinuing it. I'm still planning on picking one up for my daughter right after work on Friday. At this price, I can buy her a few cartridges to go with it!
