Over the weekend at Toys R Us, I purchased the Brave Blu Ray for $14.99. Cinderella was also $14.99. If you purchased $40 worth of Disney Movies, then you received a $10 gift card to be used starting 6 hours later. I already had a $10 gift card from a previous purchase that I planned to use. I suspect that these are Black Friday prices.
So, then I went searching for an $11ish movie to get to $40. Prep and Landing combo said $14.99. However, there was a coupon, so it rang up$9.98. I still needed to spend a little more.
Bottom line-
$14.99 Cindy Blu Ray Diamond Combo
$14.99 Brave Blu Ray
$9.98 Prep and Landing (and Naughty Vs Nice)
$11.99 Rescuers and Rescuers Down Under (I know that I could have just purchased this with the the Blu Rays, but I wanted P&L too)
$52ish dollars (so $42 as I used my gift card) and I received another $10 gift card.
I came back 6 hours later and purchased another Cindy. The guy used a code that made it $13.10. So it was $3.10. I really considered buying $27 worth of movies to get another gift card, but I figured that all of my friends would be buying Brave for their kids.
As an FYI- I went into Toys R Us looking for Cinderella Blu Ray. Blu Rays are behind the counter. NONE of these discounts were advertised at the store (except the $10 gift card). It is just what they rang up.
There was also a 20% off regular price item coupon if you need to add a movie to get to $40.
Thanks for the Kellogg's reminder! I will do that too!
