Hey everybody

could somebody point me in the direction of the cheepest place to book Hard rock hotel for a 1 night stay in may

cheers

Usually direct, many UK agents won't accept 1 night bookings for the Universal resorts.
What date you wanting?

It would be may 17th. the best ive managed to see so far is £194

$313 Direct which converts to £197

For one night not worth buying an Annual pass, don't suppose you already have an AP? that would bring cost down to $207 or £130 incl tax.

eBookers looks to be cheapest agent at £208.48 less 10% Quidco (depends if you get 10% off the whole amount or before tax)

If you book direct with Universal then they release a lower rate you can get that rate applied at no cost, agents have their own T&C's.

I was just thinking about this, is one night enough for FOL passes? I was wondering if I could book a night here (staying in a villa) and if it would be worth it...

We are trying this for the first time in August and reckon it will be worth it if you can get two full days of park time out of the one night stay. When we worked out the cost of the passes for us as a group of five in August and the likelihood of long queues at that time of year we wanted to give it a try.

We stayed at Portofino Bay 2 years ago to get the passes and it was great but we had to stay two nights because we booked in at the start of our holiday before going on to OKW for the rest of our stay. Its not terribly worthwhile though staying there on the first night as flights always arrive so late and we needed a two night stay to get two full days at the parks.

The Universal hotels seem great but we really cant stay long there with 5 of us in one room:scared1:

I booked a one night stay in Royal pacific to get 2 full days of front of line access. We booked in around 7.30 the first day and left at 4 the next (but then we had problems and had enough by then). We booked through aaa.com ( american aa) and got about 10% off I think. Although I am a member of the aa in UK their USA site never asked for my membership number or anything and nor did they when I booked into the hotel as it was prepaid. Unfortunately I couldn't book the aaa.com site with quidco as well.
Rate on site for 17 May for 2 adults is $279 for Hardrock and $228 for Royal pacific not sure if this includes tax as didn't go all the way in booking.

I checked AAA rate for 17th May, no discount yet, its $279 + tax which is $313, same as full rate but thats why I suggested booking direct with Universal so any AAA rates (or other discounts) can be added as a later date if released.
