Best Price for Tickets???

Does anyone know if you upgrade to an annual pass from one of these tickets if you retain the discount or if Disney can tell how much the tickets originally cost and you still end up paying the full amount to upgrade?

You are going to read replies that say that you will retain the discount and those that say you will not. You will likely read that you have to use the ticket first in order to retain the discount and others that say you do not. Some people will say that if you do get to retain the discount, it is "pixie dust" and should not be expected.

We went down in September and brought with us one 3 day Parkhopper (the actual ticket, not a voucher) that I got free by using Airmiles and two 4 day parkhopper vouchers that I bought at a discount from LMTClub. We went right to the ticket booth since we knew we were going to upgrade. I was able to upgrade all three of the hoppers to Deluxe APs and I was credited the full gate price for each of them, so I did retain the discount. I was credited $295 for the 3 day hopper and $320 for each of the 4 day hoppers and only paid the difference even though I only paid $275.25 for each of the 4 day hoppers and the 3 day was $0 cash (used Airmiles to get it).

I've upgraded from discount passes to APs once before and was able to retain the discount, I've also added a day onto a discount hopper and was also able to retain the discount. Maybe I've been super lucky and have been granted a big helping of pixie dust and YMMV.

Thanks for the info. Did you lose your MM?

Search Anaheim, CA. And you can limit your search under Activities to just Theme Parks too.
Make sure you are using the LMTClub site, not just LMT. You will need a membership which if you search for a code, you will find one easily. Then look under activities, Anaheim, and it should be there.

We've upgraded discounted AAA passes in 2014 as well and were credited the full amount.

Thank you for this info. Sounds to me as if it is at least worth the try. :)

Just ordered my tickets from LMT Club. Heading to the resort on Saturday - park days Sunday and Monday. Fingers crossed I receive the email in time!

Ordered mine yesterday morning and have not received them yet. I have a couple of weeks before my trip. CC was charged though!

Just received them! Knowing I was cutting it close, I wrote in the notes. They also probably pay attention to the dates selected.:)

Just ordered through LMTclub.com. Saved my family $40 on 4 day hoppers, thank you!!!!

Thank you for this thread! Received my e tickets from LMTClub in 24 hours and only paid $277 each for my 4 day adult hoppers! The tickets are valid thru Dec 2017. I am planning to upgrade to deluxe annual passes at the ticket booth. The voucher states that they are eligible for annual pass upgrades. Thank you for saving me and my family a significant amount of money for our Disneyland Christmas trip!!
