Best Price / Discount for Rental Car with Drop Off at Different Location

We're thinking about renting a car in Miami after our 5 day cruise on Wonder, and driving up to WDW for one park day, then flying home out of Tampa.

So, drive up Thursday, MK Friday, hang out Saturday then drop car in Tampa and fly home.

Are we nuts? And any advice as to where to find the best car rental rate / code to use to make this plan reasonable?

So far, I don't seem to be finding any great rates. (But maybe I don't realize what a great rate would be). We are only looking to rent Thurs. to Fri. Any non-airport locations I should check for pickup in Miami (and that would be easy to get to from port?)

Read the fine print. Many one-way rentals do not include unlimited mileage, and some charge extra fees.
