What's the best price anyone has gotten at the Poly for the regular season in October (2nd week)? I would love to stay here, but it may be out of budget. I'm looking for some hope or Disney magic! :wizard:

Well, definitely not point rental. At low season a Sunday to Thursday night stay is around 41 points per night. Weekends are outrageous. If you rented points they'd be about $10/pt making it over $400 per night. If you can wing it and your stay is long enough you may want to weigh getting at least one AP for your party and looking for an AP discount which is known to get you some good rates at the Poly. Even a AAA discount could get you 10 - 20% off per night depending on the season and promotion. Sometimes the cost of the AP could far outweight the money you save on the room. Do the math and make the comparisons. If I had my heart set on the Poly, I'd probably go the AP discount route.

Good luck!

Renting points from DVC members can be a good deal if you're staying at a DVC resort - SSR, OKW, VWL, BWV, BCV, HHI or VB. While DVC members can use their points at the mods and some deluxes, it's not a good value - point costs are much, much higher than they are at the DVC resorts.

I just got an AP rate of $249/night at the Poly! It will be our first stay there in January!! We usually stay at the values, and occasionally we stay somewhere else.. But we need 2 rooms at most resorts. Ive always wanted to try the Poly so this will be awesome.. I can NOT WAIT!!! :cool1:
