DD is 25m. I would like to attempt potty training her this summer before she goes over to her enrichment school in August. We don't feel like it's going to be too hard because she shows interest in the potty and will go whenever we ask her if she needs to go. She tells us when she's done number 2, but never before - only after she's gone. And she never tells us she needs to go - I'm not entirely sure she knows. She just knows that she's been.
What is a good strategy to start with?
BTW, I am off this summer and home all day if that makes a difference! TIA!

My DD just turned 2 and we are going to start this process as well but it's nice to hear that it's really best not to push it....they will go when they are ready. I love our pediatrician but he suggested starting at 18 months
There was just no way DD was ready then. I think she's showing signs now, will tell us when she has a wet or messy diaper but I am going to take it slow and when it happens it happens
