Best portable mist fan sprayer?

We need a few portable mist fan sprayers for Disney World in July.

Anyone have any suggestions on the best portable mist fan sprayer? It would be nice if it had a strap. I heard Brookstone had a nice one like that, but can't seem to find it online anywhere. Advice?

We use these small ones I get at Walmart. . .they clip onto a belt loop, camera strap, etc., are NOT heavy and cumbersome. We love them. . .each person has their own.

I second above advice Those fans put out alot of air and I've found that I hardly ever use the misting part (which can be hit or miss) because of the high humidity. I just clip them on my belt or bag and there they are when needed.

Third! I almost got them at my local Wal*Mart for $3 each, but DW thought we'd just get them in Florida and not have to pack them. $4 each down there (+ batteries). We still got three (one for each kid) & batteries for less than one of the larger bottles ($18 @ Disney).

I found them in the hardware area on a shelf. . .sometimes they are on the endcaps in the same area. You'll just have to look around! They are fairly durable. . .the first set I bought lasted for 3 years or so. . .through 2 WDW trips and a beach trip with local trips in between. I bought new ones for our trip this year.

Just bought a misty mate for our trip at Academy Sports. It has a strap and doesn't require batteries. You just pump it and it sprays out a fine mist like the big ones in Adventureland. Can't wait to try it out this weekend!!

I bought some at target a few weeks before our trip and they were absolutely fabulous! The water stayed cool and it was easy to spray- you just pumped the bottom a few times and was good to go! The weather wasn't to bad but we would use it to spray the back of our necks and faces! They were $2.50 at Target!

I love these too! I carried one of the big, clunky mister bottles around one year, and it was such a pain!

These mini-misters are lightweight and work very well. They only cost $3 or $4, too. The only drawback is that you have to fill the water reservoir much more often (because it's so small) but I just fill it with water from my water bottle. Problem solved!

Where in Walmart do you find them?

In the hardware section, where they sell the floor fans. They're usually located on an "end cap" display.

we bought Frog Togs online (but I think Academy sells them). It's not a fan, but a cloth wrap that goes around your neck to keep you cool. We used them a week ago, and they worked great. Got the idea off another thread on here.

We get those little travel hair spray pump bottles and a little portable dollar fan at walmart. I think the spray pump bottles were 50 cents and the fan $1. We found the fans in the hardware section hanging on those metal side racks they put near the beginning and end of the aisles. It is a cheap and light weight solution and works great for everyone in our family.

We used one of the bottle type with a strap at another amusement park. It was a little cumbersome, but we only brought one for the family and shared. I'm definitely going to check out those mini ones!
