Best portable charger?

I like the Anker rechargeable batteries. I have several of the 3,350 mah batteries and two of the 6,700 mah ones. I agree that having a larger one is better, but for me, it's a trade-off between weight/size and capacity. I go with the smaller ones because they weigh less (I've already go enough stuff in my bag). I usually leave several in the locker and then swap them out as needed (it's kind of my own FuelRod system!).

In terms of FuelRod, they're in select airports, but the closet airport listed on the FuelRod website is San Diego (LAX and SNA are not listed). Disneyland Resort is not listed, so the website might be out of date. Otherwise, you can purchase one online for $25 ($20 plus $5 for shipping) or for $30 in the parks. They're very careful not to tell you how big the batteries are, but I've read that they're usually in the 1,000 mah (or lower) range. So you'll be needing to swap them out on a fairly regular basis to charge anything.

I'm in love with that fuel rod. Very convenient. It also works as a standard recharger I can use and recharge myself outside of the parks so it's a pretty solid investment.

Have you ever measured the battery capacity? I'm just curious to know if they've improved the size or if it's still in the 1,000 mah range.
