Garden view, 5th sleeper.
Any suggestions for a room location request at check-in? I would like to be closer to the buses if possible.

We have stayed in buildings 25 and 26 of alligator bayou and really liked them for the pull down bed and proximity to the west depot. We preferred our bus pickups from there early morning since it's the first stop at POR. It was also a quick walk to the room. We found at busy times of the day if we tried to catch the bus at the lobby it was much fuller. We also stayed in a royal room once and found that same issue at the east depot. As much as we like the royal rooms and the look of the mansions at POR, having the murphy bed and better bus location is preferred for us.

I always like to look at a map and see where my room is when I get the text or when we are checking in at the front desk. Having two littles myself, you can always ask if you can get any closer to a bus stop. If there is something available, they will be more than willing to accommodate. For now, I would also echo calling Disney and adding close to a bus stop and ground floor as well. Almost all of the buildings have exterior stairs and no elevator---so if you have a stroller or even small kids that you might be carrying back into your room during naptime or after a long night in the parks its helpful not to have to climb stairs.

this described the entire Alligator Bayou section :D All the Mansions have elevators, but only sleep five if one is under three and sleeps in the Pack & Play.
