My family will be hitting MK on Mother's Day. It will be our first day at DW. The advice I've gotten is to be there at park opening (which we had planned to do) and hit Fantasyland first. Is this a good "plan of attack"? :)

Ride Dumbo
FP- Peter Pan
Mic's Philharmagic
IASW
Ride Peter Pan (will the FP time likely be ready by then?)

Come on, some of you people from the Overplanners thread...help me out here! :teeth:

I doubt you will need a fast pass for Peter Pan if you go right after Dumbo.

Also, in Fantasyland, one of the rides that gets lines quickly and might be good to fit in early is Winnie the Pooh. I love this ride - very playful!! :thumbsup2

We're going to MK early in the morning and our plan of attack is similar. We're gonna do Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Small World, Mickey's Philharmagic, Haunted Mansion and Jungle Cruise, (maybe Country Bears...) then get a FP for Buzz Lightyear, go do lunch and a nap, come back and hit Buzz, TTA, and the Carousel of Progress. I've been told this is a pretty "light" day, lol. Also, we followed a similar schedule a few years back on our first family trip and had NO lines. :-)

Good luck with your planning!!

Thanks MouseEarsJenny! :thumbsup2 I'd kinda like to be FP free at that point, so I might just skip the Peter Pan FP and just ride it after Dumbo as you suggested. I had planned to do the Winnie ride on our last day at MK because we'll be dining at the Crystal Palace for lunch. Is this too silly? ha Actually, though, my plan is to hit the previoulsy mentioned rides, then head to Adventureland, then Frontierland, catch the Sword and Stone Ceremony, some do Haunted Mansion, some shop, then make our adr for supper at LTT. We're doing Tomorrowland and Toontown, along with Winnie and Teacups on our last day of vacation. Thanks so much for the input!

I'd do the other stuff in Fantasyland first, then Philharmagic last. There's rarely a line for this and the most you'll likely have to wait is about 10 minutes for the next show. It also has FP should you end up needing it.

Sure, if you're splitting the MK into two days, WtP is perfectly fine to save for your Crystal Palace day! Cute idea.

Oh, and enjoy LTT! We adored that on our last visit - going back again this time! The character interaction is great, and we found the food quite yummy! (Strawberry Viniagrette dressing is particularly tasty!)

Yup! Last year DBF and I hit Fantasyland right when the park opened. We did Small World, Winnie the Pooh, Snow White, Peter Pan, and Dumbo in 30 minutes! I think it may just be a record! :teeth:

All good advice. I would add the following. On your way to Fantasyland at park opening, go through Tomorrowland and ride Indy Speedway first. Later in the morning, the lines for Indy can be ridiculous. If you ride it first thing you'll just walk on. We went from there, pulled FP for Pooh, rode Dumbo, Peter Pan, Small World, Pooh in no time at all. Enjoy!
