Best Plan for Epcot

Ok so heres my dilemma...I know our trip isn't for a couple of months, but I am starting to think about ADRs. Epcot is probably 1 of our fav parks and as it stands now I have 2 full days that we are planning at Epcot right now. We are also planning 2 1/2 days at Magic Kingdom, and then 1 day each at AK and HS. I also have a resort day filtered in there to just relax and hang out at the resort. I want to do 1 "nice" dining experience on this trip (basically a 2 credit meal on the deluxe dining plan). My husband has crossed off all the dinner shows and also CRT as no gos for him, lol. I thought about maybe Le Cellier but then after I read some reviews about it I decided that maybe Yachtsman might be the better choice. My question is this...Illuminations is an absolute MUST do on this trip! At least for me...I have tried to see it on our 2 previous trips and just have not been able to see it and it really bummed me out. Anyways on the night we get an ADR to Yachtsman I want to get a FP for Illuminations (are they still doing this? And is it still considered a tier 1? I know MK stopped FPs for Wishes, so not sure if they are doing the same for Illuminations). Also if Baymax and Inside out characters are still around, whats been everyone's experience with waiting time for them? Is it better to see them in the AM or can we see them in the PM like right before Illuminations and not have a long wait. I have an older son on the spectrum so waiting is an issue for us. My younger son is going to want to see the characters at the Character Spot so I was planning on getting a FP for that while I send my older son on Mission Space with his dad and then we could meet up for Inside Out and Baymax...I am hoping to be able to all this before Illuminations. Does this sound like an ok plan? If this is a good plan than what time should I be looking to schedule an ADR at Yachtsman to be able to make it over to Epcot for a FP at Mission Space & Character Spot (generally around the same time) and then a Stand by wait for Inside Out & Baymax? Also whats the best plan of action for parking wise? Should we drive to Yacht Club and valet park and then head to Epcot from there or should we just park at Epcot and head over to Yacht Club from Epcot? Thanks for all the help! Sorry this is a little long, LOL
