Hello,

WE are coming in February and we are bringing our 11 year son and 6 year old daughter... Where are the hot spots to eat? We will be there for 5 days. What are the most popular spots to eat in each park?

In the MK there is Crystal Palace, it is a character buffet meal. Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore strol around.
At the Contemporary Resort there is Chef Mickey's another character buffet that has Mickey, Donald, Goofy (or pluto can't remember) and Minnie.

Epcot, well that park is full of great places to eat. We have yet to eat a TS there only ate a CS meal at the Sunshine Seasons, plenty of variety and really good.

As others tell of some places keep in mind some of the best places can be at the resorts. DW has plenty to choose from that is for sure!

MK - If you want to splurge a little, your 6 yo DD would love CRT, although your 11 yo son might not enjoy a meal with cinderella quite as much.:rotfl: For CS, we love cosmic rays!
EP- Le Cellier is great, but the kids would probably really enjoy Coral Reef, especially if you get a seat near the fish tank. We love eating our way around the countries in WS, and usually find unique CS options there.
HS- 50's Prime Time Cafe is pretty good for sit down, and a fun environment. I like the CS area near TOT, RnRC and Beauty and the Beast, I think it's called Rosie's but I could be wrong.
AK- We usually only spend a half day at AK at a time, so someone else will have to help you out here!
HTH!

we did the 50 prime time a couple of weeks ago and it was okay but we don't plan on going back to it next year. At AK we did picnic in the park for lunch and it and sunshine seasons in Epcot were our favorite CS lunches we had.
We did O'hanas for breakfast and loved it. We will do it next year. We loved Chef Mickeys and will do it next year as well. Coral Reef was great too. We didn't get near the tank. But it was great. The kids meals were great too.

At 6 and then 11 my ds loved pretty much any character breakfast. He also loved Sci Fi at MGM, San Angel at Epcot, Cosmic Ray at MK and also Casey's (he loves hot dogs) and Rainforest Cafe at AK. Additionally, Beaches and Cream at YC.

Well my two favorites are the California Grill and Citricos. They're signature dining restaurants and pretty expensive. Cali Grill is more kid friendly than Citricos.

At MK:
To me, the Crystal Palace is just a must-do part of the MK. I have a lot of good memories of eating there as a child.
I like Columbia Harbour House for CS. If it's good weather, they have some outdoor tables that have a nice view of the Liberty Belle Riverboat going by. Or if it's hot, they have lots of indoor tables.

At Epcot:
Best park for food by far!
I always have such a difficult time deciding where to eat for CS meals here.
If I'm in Future World, Sunshine Seasons always wins out. In the World Showcase, I like the CS in Mexico, Morocco, and France best.

At AK:
Pizzafari has lots of indoor seating which is great when it's hot. The decor inside is adorable!
Flame Tree is good if the weathers nice - wonderful views of the park, but all the seating is outdoors.

Haven't been to HS in almost 10 years, so I can't really comment on the food there.

Mmmmm, California Grill - I can almost taste the sushi... not sure how much it would be appreciated by a 6 yr old and 11 yr old, though?
At the resorts, I would think whispering canyon at WL might be fun at that age - also Ohana at the Polynesian and Boma at AKL.
In the parks, Im both DS and DD would love eating in the castle at CRT - then Sci Fi at HS, and either coral reef or Beirgarten at Epcot. They may enjoy the character meals at norway and/or the Land too.

We leave tomorrow... any other must eats? We have a 11 year old boy and 6 year old girl. We have reservations at the castle and nothing else so I am in a panick!!! Any advice?

We have 10 year old twins and a toddler. Our faves are Whispering Canyon, Sci-FI diner, Crystal Palace, and T-Rex (at downtown disney).

Enjoy your trip! :woohoo:

BTW, great time to visit the World! I would love to escape the 2 feet of snow we just got!
