Best places to eat with picky kids?

we usually end up at Whitewater Snacks because there's something for everyone. we also like to grab Mickey pretzels for the kids and Rancho Zocalo for the adults. Another place that is awesome is Wine Country Trattoria. My kids will eat the grilled cheese sandwich(about the only place at the Disneyland Resort where you can get one of those) and the adults get lasagna and it's real food when you get tired of counter service.

At separate tables..... ;) No, really.

:confused3:confused:

counter service burger, fries, chicken fingers. The buffette at the floridian.

You mean the Grand Californian? The buffet is very expensive and my girls didn't see anything they really wanted on it. When you are seated you get a buffet menu to look over, it was $12.99 for kids and $28.99 for adults. DBF got the buffet, the girls and I ordered from the regular menu. DD11 really likes the "make your own pizza" there, it's not really make it yourself you just get to add a topping or have cheese. lol

I'm guessing White Water Snacks.

At least the Chicken Fingers I had there were really tasty.

I thought that too, but then thought maybe he was talking about 2 different things. :)

Thanks, these are great! I am adding them as favorites to my DL dining app, which also has menus (unfortunately not for anything not within DL or DCA... but still will save me all that running around at the park).

How is the food at that hokey western show in DL........ trying to think of the name. I think that came recommended at some point.

Do you mean Billy Hill and the Hillbillies? The food at the Golden Horseshoe? If so it's good, standard fried food but it was plentiful when we ate there. Last time we did we got 1 chicken strip meal, 1 cheese stick meal (both with fries), shared them between the 4 of us and then we each had a sundae for dessert. :) It was good!

Yes, that's it! The desserts look yummy. And one of my guidebooks suggested it as an indoor respite for lunch.... complete with entertainment for the kids.

The book is of course outdated.... I thought it said the food was good but the menu doesn't look that interesting. So it's perfect for my kids. :) :rotfl:

My daughter can also be picky. I brought in Uncrustables and let her have those. I bought a kid's meal for my 2 year old son who is willing to eat just about anything and had them share the things she would try, but other than that gave her the Uncrustables. I didn't want to risk having a hungry grumpy kid because she didn't want to eat.

I always brought snacks. When my kids were younger we would share meals and if any of us were still hungry I had snacks. I see so many people buy meals for children then throwing it away. It has always worked out. Now that my daughter is 18 she till shares meals with me because she always wants to try different things thru-out the day.

Yup, if you don't mind typical fried fast food style you'll be fine. :) The chicken was very good and so were the cheese sticks. :) Like I said, they were just typical food choices but we had no complaints. We love the ice cream sundaes there and the Mile High Cake is just OMG.....honestly, all that chocolate scares me. LOL DD11 doesn't like cake so we've never had it but it does look amazing!!

We were just there this last weekend...it's become one of my "go to" events! For me, it's the mile high chocolate cake (huge and surprisingly good) and the chili cheese fries. Nummy!! DD, who isn't such a picky eater, enjoys the chicken nuggets there and you can get plain single scoops of ice cream, but for her the root beer float is the main choice. Lines can be really nasty near show time. We got there about 20 or so minutes before and walked right up to the front. However, 10 minutes later it was swamped.
