Best Places to eat before shows/parades

What's a good place to eat dinner before the nighttime fireworks or Illuminations? Has anyone tried the Rose and Crown Pub? The menu looks skimpy.

For Illuminations, I like Biergarten, there's great places to see the show between Germany and Italy.
For Spectromagic parade, I like Pecos Bill cafe, great wall to sit on right outside, or Liberty Tree Tavern, great wall right across the way. After the parade, I have time to walk to Main St and stand for the fireworks.

The Rose and Crown is a great place to watch the fireworks from if you request and get seating on the patio outside. The food is delicious. We were there in March, and loved it.

Can't wait till Nov!!!

I love the Rose & Crown and it has now become a ritual for me to dine here on my last EPCOT night @ WDW. The food is very good and I always request a patio table 1 1/2 hours prior to Illuminations. This way I get a great meal, then relax, enjoy a wonderful dessert, and enjoy Illuminations from the comfort of my table.
