Best Places for Birthday Dinners

We are heading back in November and will be there for both my ds's 7th bday as well as my bday. When we were there last year for my dd's bday we had breakfast in the castle for her big day. Any suggestions what would make the day extra special for my son? I was thinking of Hoop De Doo Review for either his bday or mine? Any suggestions??? TIA!

We did DD birthday dinner on 2/16 at Chef Mickey's. We had 10 people in our party and the only time I could get was 8:30. I almost thought about doing a different restaurant but kept the ressie. It turned out to be great! Because the time was later the restaurant was not that busy and the characters spent so much time at our table.

I have about 15 pictures of Mickey who actually sat down at our table to play with my shy nephew who is 2. Everyone commented on what a great dinner it was, and especially nice that the characters didn't just come to the table quickly then have to run.

It's something I'll definitely remember next time!

How about T-Rex cafe in DTD. Or, I hate to say it, but if you have considered going to Universal at all there is a Spiderman character meal there. Unfortunately the best options for boys happen to not be Disney owned.
