Best place to watch....

This is our first time to WDW, where we are actually staying on site. In the past it's been quick one day visits, and we have never seen parades or fireworks.

I'm looking for ideas as to where the best places are to sit and watch Illuminations, Wishes and Fantasmic?

From what I hear any seat at Fantasmic is good.
For illuminations we like sitting near Mexico or Canada, as you have a shorter walk to get out to the parking area from there (unless of course you entered from the International Gateway, then you're better sitting up there).
For Wishes we like being by the castle, on the side nearer Tomorrowland so we can see Tinkerbelle fly from the castle.

I have been to disney so many times and I know where to sit. in fantasmic they are all good seats but my family always wats to wait for like 2 hours and it is so boring to wait that long but they are right in the middle of everything and they are really good seats. In illuminations we usually stand on the bridge connecting Great Britan and Canada. There u can see everything. and n wishes we usually stand right in front of the castle and back to about Casey's hot dog stand. This way u can see everything and u see the castle perfectly. Also it is good for a quick exit after the fireworks. but a quicker way out after the fireworks is also to exit through the shops. But anywhere u stand is good for all these events.

I have a question about the Spectromagic Parade Where is a good place to watch Spectomagic with out getting too DH is going to be using a scooter. I know they have sections for wheelchairs and such. But, I am looking for a spot that we both can see from.

How early to you have to be there to get a place?

Illuminations...our #1 favorite is from a pontoon boat which parks under the International Gateway Bridge

Wishes...from the bridge going towards Tomorrowland

Fantasmic!...good view no matter where you sit. Note the first few rows will get wet due to the mist effects during the show
