Best Place to watch Wishes?

We are heading down for our first DVC trip next March. Did Wishes in the park last October and would love to see it from a different vantage point and maybe with a cocktail??? Saw Samantha Brown's special on TC last night featuring California Grill ( or is it Cafe) as a good spot to watch from.

Anyone else have a suggestion?

We love to watch from the patio by the boat marina at the Grand Floridian. Just outside the Gasparilla Grill are a bunch of tables and chairs. It's a great spot! You can get a dessert and cocktails!

Watching Wishes from the California Grill is a nice experience, but my DW and I love the view from the beach at the Poly. We try to plan at least one dinner at the Poly and time it so that we can watch Wishes from the beach afterwards.

We watched from the boat we took at the GF back in April. All I can say it was Awesome!

We watched from the beach at the Poly several times during Thanksgiving week last year and it was great. You also get to see the Electric water pageant.

We like to watch it from CG or 'Ohana (they pipe in the music). For a completely different vantage point, it's fun to watch from behind the castle--fireworks are directly overhead, in front of, and behind you!

We also "watched" from Cinderella's Royal Table this past trip--amazing to see if you have a window table.

Beach at the poly- there is not alot of sound but wow what a view. Get a s close to sunset pointe as possible or even up there (the grassy hill where they have weddings). Pull up a beach chair or get there early and grab a hammock...add a pina colada...ahhhh! Plus great spot for Pageant.


Also Narcoosee's has a nice view (seafood restaurant) or the marina at the GF as mentioned.

It is basically floats(whale, sea serpents, american flag, etc) that light up in the Seven Seas Lagoon as they are passing by. Nothing extravagent, but nice to watch at night.
