Best place to watch Super Bowl aside from ESPN?

Nope no car . We are relying on only Disney transportation. We can have a few drinks and not worry about who is going to drive or for that matter who is driving on the road after they have had a few.

We get into MCO at 4:30. We will check in and pretty much head right to DTD. Probably just change first.

I agree, it'd be even better (for us, lol) if it were Aaron Rodgers again!!

Wish me luck I start calling Wednesday MS and hopefully they will have me in the system. The seller we had took for ever with their documents so it has shortened our booking window. I have heard though that is not so busy in early February . We want BCV (home resort) but we also like BWV.

Where is your first stop in DTD ? I love RR and P37. DH likes HoB , so do I... so hard to decide.

When the person we rented from called for studios last month there was preferred view only at BWV and deluxe studio at BCV. Wishing you luck!

We are going to do Earl of Sandwich and Ghirardelli We did HoB in October. We may well stop for a few adult beverages there and at RR.
We haven't checked out P37, may have to stop by there!

Honestly, I think I would get all my favorite Disney treats and make myself comfortable in my room/villa.

Depending on the group that is going, there is a Hooters just off property in Buena Vista that is a good place to watch the game as well.

I know there are some women/families who would never set foot in one, but again, depending on who goes ans their feelings on the establishment, it is a good option for game viewing.

There's also a Buffalo Wild Wings within a mile from DTD, might be a good option too.

I would guess all the lounges would have it on. They had college football on in the POR lounge when we were there, and we've watched March Madness basketball at the Poly lounge before.

We watched it last year at Paradiso 37 and it was fun. It wasn't super crowded and they just had a couple TVs at the bar, but we had really good drinks and apps and a few fun people to watch it with. We also went to the parade at MK the next day and I am not really sure that one was worth it. We waited in our spot for 2 1/2 hours, which we decided later was kinda silly (but it was an adults only trip so not a huge deal), but I guess it was cool to see Aaron Rodgers ride by on a car

They are on the Marketplace side the other end from HoB and Circ. I was thinking Saturday evening,what ever is good for you . I have no idea what time the SB is but we can figure it out. PMing is a great idea.

The Super Bowl will be Sunday night around 6 or so! Have fun!

Glad to see this thread. We are going for our first time and staying at the Poly. DH is worried about not being able to see the game too, but I could care less. Will be nice to have the lounge there for hubby and Dad to watch the game and us girls can go shopping! We have ADRs at Kona that night, so it will be close.

We stayed during superbowl weekend in 2009 and they had a big blowup screen on the beach where you could watch it (at the contemporary).

We are staying at AKL on the Club Level and I asked if anything special was being planned. Here is the response:

The Superbowl will be on the television in the concierge lounge. There may be some additional snacks set up during that time period. We will have our normal offerings which will include appetizers, wine and beer. It's a very informal Superbowl party, but in past years it has been a lot of fun.

We plan on doing the Sunrise Safari that morning then heading over to DHS for most of the day. I figure our watch party will be split between AKL and Contemporary, where we have late reservations at Cali Grill

Didn't read all the replies so sorry if this is repetitive, but I would think any of the lounges at any resort would be showing it. The lounge at POR showed the Sunday night and Monday night games. I would expect it to be easy to find. And just as a tip - supposedly the parks are empty during the game. Might be a good time to do some rides if no team you like is in it
