Where, in your opinion, is the BEST place to watch Holiday Wishes? And how early do you have to show up to get that spot if you are not doing the parade beforehand (but rather afterwards)

Same places as for regular Wishes.

Unfortunately, they coincide with some of the best parade viewing in the Hub and on Main St.

So, (for the fireworks) you want to arrive at least an hour before the parade starts.

(One trick is to jump into the center of the street JUST as the end of the parade has passed.)

you are the king of the helpful graphic, aren't you? I remember you helping me out with a HS question similarly lol. I think anything off to the side too far will lose some of the effect of the 360 fireworks. I have the dessert party booked right now but am thinking the view for the fireworks are not the best for the Holiday wishes (like they are for regular wishes). Opinion on that?

I was thinking of maybe showing up for wishes and then watching the parade after but just really unsure about it all. i think wishes is later than usual too spacing it out further from the parade. It just seems a long time to wait for wishes after the first parade.

1. Agreed.
2. That depends on whether you are IN the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant, or OUT in the (former) FP+ viewing area in the Hub.
I don't know where they will allow dessert party guests to see the fireworks for Holiday Wishes.

BTW... with the current way they assign tables to dessert party guests, I would not be inclined to book the inside viewing AT ALL!

I am just kind of holding it because it is already sold out but am highly inclined to cancel - but since I have 5 days to do that I am waiting to see if they are giving people the option to go to the outside viewing area (which is available to regular wishes dessert parties as a separate booking now I believe?) I am half waiting for the reports of at least the halloween parties before deciding since I assume the format will be similar.

But right now I am thinking ride rides during first parade, cram in for fireworks, stay for second parade. In 2014 when I went my kiddo was 6 so we left after wishes and did the parade beforehand. Now I expect to close the place down (we will have a dry run with evening extra magic hours the night before and are doing nothing but eating and swimming the day of until it is party time).

I am more holding onto the dessert party for the reserved parade viewing...but I am hoping they allow us out of Tomorrowland Terrace to watch the fireworks. We'll see....I don't think they will. They didn't let us out for the 4th of July fireworks.

From the description, it seems like you will need to stay at the restaurant:

  • After the parade, Guests will be escorted back to Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant—the location for both the dessert party and Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks at 10:00 PM.
