Best place to watch DL hotel outside of the park

We are arriving at the DLH on Sunday September 30th. However that is not a park day for us. We will be going to the parks Monday -Friday, so will miss the fireworks (except for MHP fireworks on Tuesday).
We thought it would be fun to find a place to watch the DL fireworks that night.
Is there a good place to do that?

Last time we stayed at the DLH we had an awesome room and were able to watch them from the room. We are not counting on that this time.

Any help would be appreciated.

I like to watch them from the pool deck of the PPH. It provides a fantastic view and there are always chairs that you can snag. Sometimes, they even pump in the music.

You can see them pretty well (but not the castle) from the esplanade.

I was told you can see them from the upstairs outside deck at Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen. Didn't try it myself so I'm not sure. The food there is great too, so worth a shot maybe.

This may sound a little funny, but we took the tram from DTD to the Mickey & Friends parking structure, and watched the fireworks from the top floor. No music, but a great view of the fireworks. Plus, we had fun taking the tram out (but we are easily entertained). I love fireworks!

If you can find out where they shoot them off and head behind there - that is the BEST place to go! We were in a parking lot behind Universal Orlando watching NYE fireworks one night and it was INCREDIBLE! They were shooting them right over the top of us - literally there were pieces of ash coming down on us, but the show was the best I have ever seen.

I am not sure if you can find a spot like that at Disneyland, but that would be where I would be looking.

In DTD, between Tortilla Joe's and House of Blues, there is a flower fountain. If you are near that fountain, you can usually see the fireworks from there.
