Just wondering where you think in the best place to view the parades in the different parks.

We are going next week and were wondering if there were places to sit and view the prades in AK, MGM & MK.

Thanks!

In the MK, I usually watch the parade in Liberty Square in front of Hall of Presidents, or, on Main Street USA by the side exit of the Emporium by City Hall. Enjoy!!

In MK, you need to at least once see it in front of the Castle. We have watched many times from Fontierland and from different spots alond Main Street. But this past year, we managed to get curb seats in the hub directly across from the Castle. So I have great backdrop of all my pictures. It was wonderful. But really the parade is good no matter where you see it.

At MGM, we usually try to line up on Hollywood Blvd - this is a short parade route so does tend to be quite crowded.

At AK we get a spot in Africa. The parade starts and ends here, so the people that line up at the beginning are gone by the time we get off Safari. Then we get a spot and enjoy a really great parade.

Enjoy.

We just got back from the world on Sunday. At MGM, we arrived about 4:50 for the 5:00 PM parade. Right when you walk in the park behind the stand that usually had the park maps was many front row places to have. We watched the parade come right at us then turn to the backstage area.

Totally agree about MK! We have sat at the hub with the Castle in front of us almost every time! It is awesome. We also have watched across from LTT - we will eat later lunch at the restaurant, walk across the street and grab a spot for the afternoon parade.

At AK, this is what we did last trip and it was perfect! While everyone else was lining up for the parade, we walked on the Safari, rode it and as we came out, the parade was just heading back. The crowds had disappeared, the characters interacted with my ds's and dh and we got great pictures!

MGM is the hardest for us, we have to get a seat so early! We tend to divide and conquer---dh taking ds's to get snacks while I sit and "guard" a bench.

Don't know about MK or AK but last Weds at MGM we staked out a bench in the shade just down from Star Tours and accross from Indy at about 4:15PM. It was perfect!! It wasn't crowded, the bench was front row, it was cool in the shade, and we didn't have to wait at all for the parade once it started.
