We are doing the Quick Service plan at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom. Looking for the best choice to get my money worth w/the food and dessert choice. Where have you goe and loved? And where should I stay away from? Thx!!!:goodvibes

Tangierine Cafe, in the Morocco pavilion at Epcot, is an awesome QS. The food is so different from any other QS and the portions are HUGE. It's one of the best bang for your QS credits because the meals cost more than most QS meals. They serve things like falafel, tabbouleh, hummus, pita, and shawarma. Sooo yummy!

I also really love Columbia Harbour House in MK. Again, the food is bit different from the standard burger and pizza fare - they have fried fish, fried shrimp, tuna sandwich, clam chowder, etc.

The best QS deal anywhere is Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD. It is not at any of those parks, but when the money is run, it's the best deal on property.

For desserts, Sunshine Seasons at Epcot. Even kids can choose dessert from the bakery section, I think.

Cosmic Rays at MK is a good place - they have 3 different stations to please everyone. It is a little bit of a hassle because, with my family I am in 3 different lines! I also like Pinnochio's Haus - they have other choices than burger and fries.
The Land at Epcot - great fresh food.
Studios - not much choices, but have enjoyed pizza planet - pizza and a salad.
DTD - Wolfgang Puck and Earl of Sandwich are both excellent (the best QS anywhere!!!)
Animal Kingdom - Pizzafari is very good, but I am in love with Yak and Yeti!

Good luck and have a great trip!!

Oooh, subbing this thread! I have been asking about QS recently and got some brilliant tips - just today decided we are going to get QS after all, so need tips on avoiding burgers now ;)

Abby, in the two places mentioned above - do they do food of this style for the children's menu too? (sorry to thread-jack)

The kids menu at Tangierine Cafe is typical kid food (cheese pizza, chicken nuggets)

No worries, we have been going to WDW for nearly 40 years, and have yet to have a burger! :goodvibes So many choices and different styles of food, you will have a great time.

We love the taco salad at pecos Bill's /Tortuga tavern in MK, Nearly all of the CS in Epcot WS, Yak & Yeti Cs and Flame Tree in AK, and Starring Rolls and Catalina Eddies in DHS. On the Monorail we like to stop at Capn Cooks at the Poly-Breakfast Tonga Toast, and The Aloha Pork sandwich and Dole Whips for lunch, And at the CR the terrific Flatbreads.

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot---best pork chop on the planet and it is huge---Columbia Harbour house or Cosmic Ray's at MK---Columbia has really good Clam chowder---Ray's has lots of non burger choices. Animal Kingdom has limited dining to begin with but Flame tree has really good BBQ and the Yak and Yeti QS has some interesting asian choices. At Hollywood Studios--Starring Rolls has a ham sandwich that is to die for---

AK--Pizzafari
HS--ABC Commisary (I love the fish @ Disney)
MK--Columbia Harbour House (again, FISH), Cosmic Ray's--there is a burger topping bar that is a GREAT way to make your own gourmet burger (DH's fave!)
EPCOT FW-- Electric Umbrella--they give you an empty cup with your meals because the soda machine is out in the dining area so you get unlimited free refills!
EPCOT WS-- France Boulangerie Patisserie-- you can get a sandwich and a dessert for a QS meal and they have gorgeous desserts! The ham and cheese croissant is YUMMY!!! :)

Hope this helps! :)

Seasons in epcot is my wifes favorite. I like the pizzafari in ak. Pesco Bills in MK is really good. In dhs we did the burger joint which was good.

Two counter service restaurants that you really get your money’s worth from the DDP are Columbia Harbor House and Yak and Yeti; delicious.

WOW! what great answers! thanks everyone! i am surprised by how many tmes the pizzafari is mentioned! As many times as I have been we have never been there! I like the Moracco idea, what kind of dessert do they have? Also, why were at it, how about best snacks too!! ;)

I read in a trip report (of course I now can't remember which one, lol) about a CS in one of the deluxe resorts, I want to say the poly, that served sushi as a cs credit. It looked amazing and I believe it was $15 or so. Definitely sounded like a good value! Now hopefully someone can jump in with the name and location!

Dessert at Tangierine Cafe for the dining plan is limited to baklava. It's actually pretty good baklava (a little too much honey though.) If you don't like baklava, sorry, that's all they offer. Not sure about the kids dessert.

Captain Cooks at the Polynesian. I am pretty certain they serve sushi there. I can't believe the $15 part though. Maybe it's true. There is a sushi bar near Kona that operates in the evenings, the price sounds about right for that, but they take TS credits, not CS. You can also get sushi with a CS credit at Sunshine Seasons (grab and go section), Starring Rolls at DHS, and Yakitori House at Epcot.

Just to make sure I understand the way this works, a CS credit is a combo plus dessert? So if we go to Tangierine Cafe , we all get the baklava? We ate at the TS service in Moracco a couple of years ago and I do remember the baklava in the desert I got back then, and yes they do like the honey!! Also, if we used a CS at Yakitori House , what would be the dessert there? Not that I need it :lmao:I looked at WDW online and could not find anything, so thanks for the help!!

It's looking like Cosmic Rays at dinner at MK, and then I need to decide between Pecos Bill and Columbia House for lunch...I like the choices at CH, but the Boys may go for PB...hmmmm.

Lunch at Sunshine food court at Epcot is a done deal for me, dinner is what I can't decide!

And AK looks like Flame tree and pizzafari, since so many liked them!

one more thing, for breakfast, can we use one snack credit each for a muffin or something and pay for drinks? That way we still have credits for an real snack later? Or .....just cheap it out and bring breakfast and eat in the rm and save the credits for a DRINK and SNACK at one time

How many of you are there? We've stretched our CS by sharing and made it cover all three meals. There are four of us and often we share two adult meals between the four of us.

Some places that we love for QSDP:

Mexico new quick service
UK fish and chips
DTD Wolfgang puck (pizza, chicken tenders and fries) makes a GREAT sharing meal
Yak and Yeti
Cosmic Rays is another great one to share (chicken and ribs)

We get 2 large drinks and usually will have our mugs with us anyway and just fill them from the large drinks. Then we split the dessert in 1/2.

We aren't HUGE breakfast people so will just get 1 adult breakfast and divide it up. Again we have our mugs and I usually get coffee with it and hubby gets diet coke (don't get me started)

So sharing does two things for us: makes it go further and we don't eat as much or throw any away! We still sometimes bring desserts back to the room for late night snacks. :)

Oh forgot another we like is at DTD ~ Cookes de Dublin. YUM! Love the fried snickers bar and atlantic scallops!
