We are planning on staying at the POFQ in May, we are wondering where the best location is to stay there. What building, floor, etc. ? Also does anyone know if they have connecting rooms.

I have seen posted that building 5 is super but there's no bad building as this resort is small. We are going in March and requesting building 5 and connecting rooms, actually, I already have so I know they have them. Guess from what someone posted you can only have 2 connecting rooms. I was hoping for three so we could be one big party!! Have fun!!

Mouser, you can have adjoining rooms but only two will connect. That is to say that two will have a door opening between them. That is just the way the resort is set up. So if you as for connecting and for the 3rd to adjoin you should have them all together. We stayed in Bldg 3 this Sept and loved it. But as you say there really is not a bad building in the resort as it is so compact and wonderful. Looking forward to our time again in Feb for our anniv. Hopy you all have a great trip :sunny:

Our first stay in this resort and a move up from the All Stars. As everyone said here on the Boards before our trip, it was smaller than Riverside, but we liked that part. Were in Building 2, third floor, pool side, close to the river. Can't say as we ever heard too much noise, but all of us were too pooped after days jumping parks that we slept like rocks.

Staff was friendly and always attentive. Loved the pool with the sea serpent water slide. The was also a hot tub behind the pool and a kid jungle gym.

Parents: the poolside bar has a nice adult “relaxing tonic” called Cajun TNT that sure helps the cares melt away after a long day in the parks! :earseek:

Bluedog, That relaxing cajan tonic sounds just like what I'll need by the end of the day, and a hot tub is a must!!! :goodvibes

I'm a big fan of building four. It's the closest to the bus stop, and just steps to the pool. It's only a few minutes to the pool and the boat dock. Great location.

We stayed in Building 5 and it was perfect. Short walk to the pool, little bit longer walk to the main building but not bad at all!

We were also on the second floor so it was very quiet. No foot traffic at all.

Curious about all the recommendations for buildings 2 and 4. Aren't they the smoking buldings? We are staying there in March and I plan to ask for Building 5.

we were in building 1, along the river, it was nice, quiet, peaceful. not a long walk to boats, or main buildings or buses, hardly saw anyone and resort was fully booked.
:goodvibes

I had asked for building 4 and they would have given it to me but the rooms weren't ready yet. So she asked if we'd like building 5 because a room was ready. I'm so glad we chose it, we got a pool/hot tub view and were right next to the stairs that were right across the street from food court. It was perfect!

We were in Building 5 first floor just steps away from the pool.
