We are making our first trip to DP later this year and really want to know where evryone likes to stay. It will just be my Wife and I. Also how many days should we do the parks. I'm thinking 3 days . Thanks Ron......

I can only comment on Newport Bay Hotel which we stayed at 10 years ago! Not much help maybe, but I presume the hotel is still a good place to stay.

Its a hotel rather than Inn style, and very nice looking inside. When I go the the US, I usually stay at Holiday Inn or HoJo and think they are fine. Newport is much nicer than those.

I'm thinking about Seq lodge this time as I want something a bit different.

Someone will come along shortly and give a better answer...

From my experience the Newport Bay Club is a beautiful hotel but pay the small extra cost and stay on the Admiral's Floor.
The Hotel New York always has good reviews and then of course there's the Disneyland Hotel right on the park gates.
It really depends on your budget, my personal opinion though would be DLH, NPB, NY or Sequoia Lodge, purely because of their location.:goodvibes

We stayed at the HNY last month and LOVED it.

It's less than a 10 minute walk to the park and only a few minutes to the Disney Village.

We had a lovely large room over looking the ice rink (which is a pool is summer)

The breakfast was fantastic - so much choice - and you can pay extra and get a cooked breakfast but they already offered scrambled eggs, sausages and potaotes!!!

One of our reasons for choosing the hotel was after reading the threads regarding the breakfast at the other hotels and the queues and being given a time slot which sometimes didn't suit people. I think this is why many choose the admiral floor in the Newport Bay as you can order room service to avoid this.

At the HNY we just went to breakfast at any time and we never had to wait.

We never went in the Newport Bay but it looked lovely from the outside and if we return in warmer weather I would look at this as a possibility choosing the Admiral floor (just from what everybody has said on here)

Good luck in deciding - it's half the fun!!!

I recently stayed at the newport bay and it was amazing, definitely the newport bay!!!! also i would go around october time because it is usually quite quiet then and not too expensive either!!!:)

On our last visit, we stayed at the Newport Bay Club and were pleased. I would happily stay there, Hotel New York, or the Disneyland Hotel, depending on budget.

dont rule out hotel cheyanne. it may be a value type resort but its the best themed in my opinion, and the walk to it is very pleasant in warmer months.

depends if you want comfort or theming really!
