Best place to stand for Parade and Dreams with minimal wait

I am off to DLRP next Thursday and am considering watching the parade and dreams on the Friday but as the weather is now colder and I don't want to be hanging around waiting for too long can anyone suggest a good spot to watch the parade and dreams where you can turn up like 10 mins before it starts?

the parade is easy - up by the queue area at Its a Small World, or anywhere up there down to the turret entrance to Fantasyland.

Dreams - hmm - it depends if you're average height or taller really. I'm just under 5 ft 5, and I can see pretty well anywhere around the hub area (personally I wouldn't go any further back than that because your view is obstructed by lamposts, trees etc). So even turning up 15 minutes before Dreams starts, on a midweek evening, I can see.
