Best place to sit for Soundsational Parade?

Where's the best place to sit for the parade? I used to sit in front of the bathroom area near Alice in Wonderland, but wasn't sure if that is still the case.

I'm not sure that there is any "best" place to sit. Anywhere along the parade route should be great. We showed up 5 minutes in advance, plopped down by the edge of Tomorrowland and it was great! There were people about 8 deep by then, but everyone sat down except the small kids, who stood, and it was perfect - everyone could see everything just fine. I gave up on staking out the perfect spot for parades a while ago and honestly, we've never had a problem seeing anything!

That should still be a great spot. The parade route isn't any different, and because this parade does NOT have a "show stop", there aren't any places along the route that miss out on some of the parade.

One day we happened upon it at the flag pole area. I wouldn't suggest staking a spot out there only because you have different kinds of music blasting in a small area. The different songs compete because one float is on one side of the pole and something else in on the other, and still another starting down Mainstreet (or back).

When we made a point to see it, we went down near IASW for the 6:30 run. We found a spot (still many left here) at 6:15, but it was 6:45 before it got to us.

We sat right near the front of Main Street, close to the flagpole, and had a great view for each float in the parade. For other parades, I've sat near IASW, but there's not really a bad seat, as long as you're on the parade route.

I first heard of this spot from RideMax I think they called it the "best spot" to view any parade because no one can sit on the other side of the benches so the CM' perform to one side, great for kids. Sleeping Beauty blew me a kiss once. I'm sure it was for me since I had her picture on my t-shirt )

We sat just to the right of the bathrooms by Alice In Wonderland on the benches. It was shady and breezy and a wonderful spot to enjoy the parade. Just bring a blanket or something to lie down in front of you on the floor so that people won't crowd in front of you when the parade is about to start.
