A friend of mine got me a game for Christmas that I literally CAN'T play because I don't have the hand-eye coordination that I need to have in order to play it. It's a PC game called Mirror's Edge - the game came out a couple of years ago. I will never play it, and would like to get rid of it... unfortunately, the game is old enough that I don't think trying to sell it on eBay would be worth the effort. I know that places like Gamestop take old games in trade, but they don't seem to give you much for them. Is there anyplace better?

trade in value for this game would be slim to none, but you can always trade it in towards another game(store credit) and get an extra % towards your purchase.

Yeah, I know... unfortunately. :/ I may just keep it and hope my manual dexterity improves. :rotfl2:

Hi not much help on your game. But this thread made me go look up some values for some of my kids games. And I can not find on Gamestop website anywhere they list trade in values. So frustrating. I have to go into the store and see what they will give me. So if I bring in the kids of course they are going to want to just take what they give so they can get something new. I wonder if Gamestop is comparable to what Amazon has listed on their site????/

I just bought the PS3 version for my DS10 a few days ago so there may still be ppl out there who might buy it on Ebay or Amazon. I bought ours off Amazon, used for $12. Seeing as it is a PC game it may not get as much as a PS3 or an Xbox 360 game would get but you can check the prices on Ebay and Amazon and see what they are going for. You can ship it media mail for around a dollar so you wouldn't have to set shipping too high. You can charge $3 for shipping and make $2 off the shipping price.

If you want to know Gamestop's trade in values, look at the used price for the game online and divide it by 3, or maybe 4. Gamestop will give you 1/4 -1/3 of what the game is selling for used. It is pretty sad if you ask me.

Gamestop usually give 50% of the used price, if it's a newer release. Anything old can get significantly less. You can not trade in PC games to Gamestop.

You can try to sell it on Amazon or Ebay, and make a few dollars off the shipping charges. If it's sold more as a puzzle type game, they tend to hold a bit more value than other games. Seems to be going for about $10 on ebay, with $4 shipping.

That used to be my experience, but in the last year or so, Gamestops trade in values have gone down significantly. The only time I have seen 50% is when it is a trade in of a popular game that has come out within the last month that they have a high demand for.

I suggest selling on Craigslist. I just price my games 20% below Gamestop's used price and then meet them at Gamestop.
