Best place to see Ariel?

What is the best place we can see Ariel.. I have only seen her listed at Norway Dinner which the menu doesnt look to appetizing for our picky family...

Last week she was in Adventureland in the covered area right after you cross the bridge. She came out at 11 and stayed until around 5:30. Lines were much better than for her in the grotto! Eric was also with her. She was in her gown, as mermaids can't walk out. On a side note, my family is pretty picky and we ate dinner at Akershus. I got the mahi-mahi and my husband got the pork. It was my favorite meal of the trip, and my husband liked his as well. The kids liked the bread and salad on the cold bar. Ariel was there and was wonderful, taking lots of time and having conversations with my children. She even kissed my DS4, and is now his favorite character!

I can only remember seeing Ariel twice at a character dining and both times were in Akershus (Norway).

So, out of 14 times we've eaten at Akershus (my daughter loves the princesses), we have only seen Ariel with her green dress twice. So it doesn't seem like she's one of the "regulars" like Belle, Princess Aurora and Snow White who seemed to be there at almost all of the times we've dined there.

The food is not our favourite either. We found breakfast to be similar fare as other restaurants we've tried. However, we usually eat dinner there.

If you really need to see Ariel, you may just want to go to the character greeting areas because there's no guarantee she'll be there at Akershus.

We have seen her consistently at the Akershus Breakfast in Norway the past three years. The food is fairly normal Disney breakfast stuff, along with salmon. It's been a good meal, as you might guess by our return visits.

She has also been at CRT lunch. It's not guaranteed, but the odds are not bad.

The princess meals do not guarantee that Ariel will be there. She does have a temporary (permanent until the Fantasyland expansion is complete so temporary is relative) meet and greet in Adventureland.

We saw Ariel at Akershus breakfast last week. We picked the breakfast because DH is picky also and wouldnt eat lunch or dinner there. But the character lineup is subject to change - i guess we were lucky we saw Belle, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Ariel!

It has been a while, but in November 2009 we saw Ariel at Akserhus during breakfast. The food was yummy too.

Akerhaus is the only place you can dine to meet Ariel. She also is meeting now - leg version - in Adventureland. You can't meet the fin version anymore since they closed Ariel's grotto.

We've seen her 2 for 2 at dinner...once out front and once greeting at Tables. I think it's just about good fortune to get her...there's no guarantee...so if you're only reason for eating their is to see Ariel, I wouldn't do it. The food there was delicious both times, but if you don't think you would like it, and you want to take the chance she's there, as PP have stated you could try the breakfast which is more standard fare.

I think you can see Ariel at the Sushi Bar at the Kona Cafe. She might also be at Tokyo Dining and California Grill, as they also have sushi. On, wait, that's not Ariel, that's Nemo.
