Best Place to Rent a Boat (with Kids)

What is the best place to rent a boat on WDW property and go around with 2 kids? Also can we book/pay in advance to confirm availability etc?

What kind of boat? The little "water mice", or something larger?

We prefer 7 Seas lagoon/Bay Lake for pontoon rentals. Years ago did from OKW but that wasn’t as much fun as there isn’t as much “history” to see (Discovery Island, River Country)
