We are leaving next week for our first trip to Universal!:p

We are staying offsite at a house we are renting for the week. What is the best parking area to use at Universal/IOA? Also, what is the price to park each day? We are NOT annual pass holders.

Thank you for all the help!!

There is one parking garage which I think is $8 per day. It may be free in the evenings. You can also valet park for a bit more $12? $16? Nothing too outrageous.

Heres the info from the website and also parking after 8P (when you will be there) is free.

IMGONNABE40, good job remembering $'s! I never can.

Garage Parking:

Universal Orlando's state-of-the-art enclosed parking garage is complete with protection from the elements, a 200-camera security system, moving sidewalks, escalators and elevators, on-site wheelchair rental and an on-site kennel. Vehicles can leave the garage and return the same day by stopping at the toll plaza upon re-entry and presenting their parking ticket.

Daily parking fees per vehicle:
Cars, vans and motorcycles: $8.00*
RVs and trailers: $10.00*
*Prices are subject to change without notice.

Valet Parking:

Valet parking is available for cars and vans at a charge of $16.00*. Follow the signs to valet parking.

*Prices are subject to change without notice

I think they want the free parking since they're staying a week. It adds up. Across the street from the parking garages on Kirkman road you'll see a Holiday Inn and a TGIFridays. You can park in the TGIFridays lot next to the stop light, and walk across Kirkman road. It's many lanes of traffic, and about a 10 minute walk, but it can be done. After you cross the street, make your way into the parking garage, go up to the 3rd floor, and get on the moving sidewalks.

Rob is right. It will be the most cost effective, but you will need new feet after all the walking for the day!
