Best place to order groceries from

We use Whole foods. It's a flat rate delivery fee. You go to your local store and make a list of everything you want and email it to the Orlando store delivery team. The quality was fantastic, especially if you are ordering produce or have any food allergies. You can basically order anything a normal wholefoods stocks.
I've got really sad news for you: WFM in Orlando ceased their delivery service on 9/29/2015. :(

I'm sure there are cheaper places to buy stuff than Goodings but it's very close making for an "uber" cheap Uber lol. Our summer trip we're at the beach club and the fare estimate is about double what it was from OKW. Wife asked how much to get to waffle house for breakfast (we don't have waffle house in NJ) but unless we're getting groceries too, I'd just as well go to Olivia's by Disney transportation over waffle house.

Gooding's is crazy expensive. We go to Winn Dixie which is right up the street from Crossroads. Prior to you trip you can get one of their discount cards (you don't need the card - you just tell them your Phone Number). With the card you can get decent discounts as well as BOGO offers.

Winn Dixie also has a decent Deli with many pre-made meals. Not sure their meats look all that appetizing though.

We found Goodings expensive and needed a good cleaning, Publix is where we shop when a WDW.

Goodings is downright UGLY. It is dirty, depressing and the fresh foods are far from appealing. AVOID.

Darn people.... I said there were cheaper places..... But it was close and had cheaper beer and water than the resort store!

But thanks for the tip on the Winn Dixie. I'll Uber to there next time. I wonder if any of them do a call ahead order? At home we have Shoprite and they have an online order for pickup you can do. We never grocery shop anymore. Just stop in and they bring your order to you and you pay. Would be far more likely to get an Uber driver to stay and wait for your return ride.

Where do you find the fare estimates?? I am currently trying to figure out if uber, wegoshop, garden grocer, or amazonprime now would be better for us.
When you open the app it shows your location but you can change this by clicking the "set location tab" it will tell you that you aren't close to this and need to confirm your location but the fare estimate button should appear and you can try different addresses. $10-$14 to the Winn Dixie from Beach Club. $9-$12 comes up from Boardwalk. Yes.... I am that cheap that I would walk to boardwalk to get the uber and take the ride back to beach club. Usually takes 5-10 minutes for the car to arrive anyway so why not get the exercise.

Thank you! We are staying at Animal Kingdom and I have no idea what grocery store might be closes. I would totally walk over there to always good to save a little money and get exercise so it is a win win in my book!

There is a Publix grocery near by. We just used this last Fri. On site now. Lots of good deals and nice deli. Cold alcohol as well. We used uber. First ride free if u need referall PM me. Good for up to $15. Regular uber much less. Then u can send referall link to spouse and they get free ride up to 15. U also get another free ride. Easy and much cheaper than delivery plus u pick what u want. Most we have waited for uber was 15 min. Sometimes only 3 min so make sure ur ready when u request. So loving uber.

Thank you this is very helpful!!!

I have. We were at OKW for 1 night before switching to BLT. OKW is really close to a Goodings just outside of Disney Springs. There's a waffle house there too. I had uber give me a ride there and when I was in the checkout line I requested an uber ride back. Roundtrip total was $13 and change.

I would never go to Goodings. That place has gone down hill over the years. At the traffic light when you're facing Crossroads, make a left onto Apopka Vineland Road(535) go down a mile or so and there's a Winn Dixie on the right side. Cleaner, less expensive and more variety.

I read that Amazon Prime Pantry has grocery items, I think it's $6 delivery fee per box. Never used grocery delivery before, but was checking into it as well.

I've used Garden Grocers on 3 separate trips now. No complaints. It's always been there waiting for us at check-in. Sometimes we have to remind the bell hop to check the resort's fridge for the milk but that's about it.

We can get a car for $30, that allows us to shop where we want, when we want. We can eat a meal off-site.

I'm not saying your wrong. But an Alamo one day rental with 2 car seats was 75 bucks (after taxes) for me. And I was told I a few times that I got the best rate they had.

Leave the kids with someone, check discount website including mouse savers and costco. Use codes and agreement numbers. Book early and re-book when rates change. Skip the insurance making sure that you have coverage from other sources.

Our Dolphin Alamo rental in December for the day was 31.63 tax and fees included for a compact through costco.
