Like many of you, I must have at least two cups first thing in the morning. There has to be some awesome coffee places in WDW. I am relying on all of you experts to guide me in this endeavor....

Hi! I hate to break it to you but WDW isn't known for its fine coffee. I've had pretty good coffee at Kona Cafe at the Polynesian and I've heard that Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge has GREAT coffee- which is nice b/c that's where I'm going next month! But other than that, if you are a real coffee connoisseur, I would recommend requesting a coffee maker at your resort - if available- and bringing your own coffee from home. Maybe someone else has some better news...Good luck!

Thanks for the info. I guess I may have to suck it up and live without my daily double dose! Oh well, life is full of sacrifices.....

Don't go without your coffee!! You'll get a headache:( if you're used to it. I'm just warning you that it probably won't be the best coffee you've ever had...but you never know! Enjoy!

I just returned from AKL and cannot honestly say the coffee at Boma was good either!

It's all pretty lousy..

Well, this is a conversation I've seen on these boards a number of times. I've been looking for good coffee on property every stay. I need my java in the morning. However, mostly due to WDW's marketing agreement with Nescafe, a good cup o' joe is hard to come by (The coffee at BOMA is indeed Nescafe like almost everywhere else on property).

My advice; bring your own. You can get an in-room coffee maker almost anywhere (except the Grand Floridian!). Put some of your favorite coffee from home in a double-bagged zip-lock and carry it onto the plane with you (DO NOT put it in your checked bag as it can cause a "false positive" when they scan it for explosives, or so the latest advisories claim).

I heard they have good coffee at the Writer's Stop (I think that's what they call it) at MGM-Disney Studios. I'll have to give it a try when we're there in December, though the cynic in me thinks it's probably Nescafe like everywhere else. But one must live with hope. ;)

OUCH...My only hope is the cappuccino machine in the concierge lounge at AKL. In all the reviews from guests who stayed on the concierge level ~ there are raves about this machine and its coffee drinks. Pray for me...;)

I love the coffee bar in the lobby of the Contemporary. I loved sneaking out of the room while my family was still asleep and going down there to get a mocha in the morning. I forget what the place is called, but it's the best coffee I've had in WDW.

The Contemporary has a coffee bar where they will make all sorts of fancy cappa-frappa-double latte thingies. (It's on the first floor of the tower in between the elevator banks and guest services -where you check-in.).

ooooooooh, that *is* good news! :D Now, does the Dolphin have the refillable mugs, and if so, can I get this Starbuck's Coffee in it, as much as I want, for free while we're staying there?

There are a few specialty coffee stands in the park with good coffee. I know of one in Epcot near Universe of Energy. Stay away from the coffee in the restaurants and regular snack stands. It's that Nescafe garbage. (Unless you want to see how bad the coffee really is. I didn't think it was possible to make coffee that bad--and I can usually drink bad coffee).

Kona Cafe at Poly has great coffee and has a stand in the Poly lobby next to the restaurant.

LOL glad to know I wasn't the only one who had the name of the CR bar slip their mind :D

Nescafe!!!??!!! Oh boyyyyy that explains a lot!!!
