Best place to eat in HS

50's Prime Time - best restaurant on WDW property IMHO!

50's prime time was fun, and good eats,.. except mom made me eat my spinach,,, yuck....

I'm going to "weigh in" on this thread and go along with the majority and say 50's PTC. And when I "weigh out" I will have gained a couple of pounds because the portions they serve are quite generous.
The last time we ate there my mom didn't finish her green beans. When dessert was served the beans made another appearance under her ice cream.

We are going to DHS on my birthday and have ADRs for 50's PT. Will they do anything silly if I'm wearing my birthday button. I don't know that I want the extra attention, but I'm sure that DD and DS will love it.

We loved Mama Melrose. We had a great waiter who let us change or add anything to our meals that we wanted. We thought the food was yummy!

What's your favorite restaurant on Hollywood Studios property?? DH said no to Sci-Fi.

I don't blame him on the Sci-Fi..you're not missing much. The food was no big deal..and the dining set up..they way you faced..found it annoying really.

Prime Time is the most fun..and we went last May for lunch. It was good, and we had a pretty good waiter. We've gone when we didn't have a waiter/waitress that was "into it"..and still had a good time. The nostalgic tv shows..and the 50's/60's kitchens(where you dine) are a fun theme.
Mama Melrose..well it's okay....I didn't spit anything out..but it was like eating cardboard. We've never gone back.
