We are taking our very first trip ever to Disney in November. Our friends plan to eat at the California Grille with a late reservation so that they can watch the fireworks from the restaurant (they say it is the best place), We have 2 children and from what I can see about this restaurant, it doesn't look as if it offers kid friendly (plain) food. Everything looks extravagant. Does anyone know of any other restaurants where we could make a late reservation, stay to watch fireworks and has kid friendly food??

California Grill is very nice and yes you can see from there. They have an outside deck.

Kid friendly would be Chef Mic's and there is a deck on that floor right where the Monrail comes in that you can go out there and see them from there.:thumbsup2

Ohana's is a great place to watch fireworks from. We did this on our last trip and are doing it again this trip. Fireworks are at 10:00 and we have a 9:30 res. Might be kind of late for small children, but the fireworks might be earlier in Nov. The music is piped in and the lights are lowered so you can view the fireworks.
