We will be at Disney for my daughters 5th birthday. I think we will be at the Magic Kingdom for the day but nothing is set in stone. What is the best place to celebrate her birthday? I am thinking about CRT, but I am not sure if its worth 2 dining credits? Does anywhere offer something over and above? Where would you go?

crystal palace is a great buffet for all three meals.......more low key with pooh, tigger and eeyore......I love the food there too

We celebrated our twins 5th birthday with breakfast at Chef Mickey's... they are 8 and still talk about it!

It was wild & crazy in there... plus we were with my whole family---14 of us... now that I think about it, maybe it was just our group that was wild & crazy :rotfl2:

We also love Crystal Palace- Pooh & gang... that's always fun. How about the Princess Storybook breakfast at Norway in Epcot? My DD loved that.

Good luck in chosing a special place for your princess!

if she's into princesses, there's a Cinderella dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, which is near MK and on the monorail line.

We celebrated DD's 5th birthday at Crystal Palace. :)

Just make sure you tell them you are celebrating, so they can decorate your table (wherever you go).

Depending on who her favorite characters are:

Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary for breakfast or dinner has the traditional characters(Mickey, Minnie, Pluto....) This is also easy to get to on the monorail or walking from MK.

1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian has a Marry Poppins Breakfast and a Cinderella/Prince Charming dinner. This is also easy to get to from MK on the monorail.

Crystal Palace at MK for breakfast, lunch or dinner has Winnie the Pooh and Friends.

(all three of the above restaurants are buffet. They are all yummy too. And each has their own little "celebration")

CRT: I've never done breakfast here, just lunch. They really make the little girls feel like princesses with a few extra goodies including pictures with Cinderella (all inclusive)! It is a set menu though, so check it out before making an ADR.

If your daughter is really into the princesses and your budget can manage it, then I would suggest doing the BBB followed by lunch at CRT. This would def make for a very special day!

Also one of my DD5 favorite breakfast is Hollywood and Vine at DHS. They have the Little Einstiens and Jojo's Circus. The kids get the opportunity to do some fun little dances with the characters. (I know you mentioned MK, but I thought I'd throw this in FYI) :)

Happy Birthday to your Princess!
