best place to eat at Epcot?

Well, that depends, do you want a show?

Do you like loud and lively restaurants or quiet and subdued places to eat?

Are you a fan of steak and potatoes or would you like something exotic?

Would you enjoy sharing your table with other people or does that sound like torture?

Do you want a Princess to stop by your table or see a dolphin flit by your table?

Are you a fan of all you can eat, or do you want to order something just for you?

Do you want a dimly lit meal overlooking a volcano or would you like to dine outside and perhaps catch illuminations?

You tell us what would make you happiest, and we will give you great suggestions.

Is this for you alone, dining with three friends, with a special romantic interest, or getting engaged? Are you honeymooning, traveling with kids, or celebrating a grand gathering?

Biergarten and R&C make me happiest, but it's really a case of what do you like. All the TSs have their fans, as well as detractors. Picking one(ortwo r three) can be a tough decision, and just gets harder as you try more places.

LeCellier, Tutto Italia & Marakesh were both wonderful for TS.

We like Tangerienne Cafe & the CS in Mexico was decent.

We really did not like the fish & chips in England - but are going to try R & C this trip (have heard great things about it).

It all depends.

CS - Tangerine Cafe, Boulangerie and Yakatori House

TS - All are good for different reasons. Our favs are (in no particular order) Tokyo Dining, Rose and Crown, Biergarten and Tutto Italia.

We LOVE World Showcase! Our favorites are as follows:

TS: Akershus (breakfast) Le Cellier, Tutto Italia, Teppan Edo, and Les Chefs de France

CS: Tangierine Cafe, Yorkshire County Fish Shop, and the new Cantina in Mexico looks great! :thumbsup2

Snacks: Kringla Bakeri og Kafe & Boulangerie Patisserie

ok, I'll be specific: what is your favorite place to eat around the world when you have small kids and you enjoys tastey food of all varieties.

TS: my favourites are Chefs de France and Teppan Edo
QS: i love yakitori house in Japan! They have yummy udon soup and teriyaki beef! Yummm

We did Beirgarten and really liked it. My kids (8&5 at the tiem) loved dancing to the oomba band.We did breakfast in Norway with the princesses last year my dd loved it. Ds was just happy to eat sausage..:lmao: he's not a huge princess fan

Biergarten: wonderful and diverse food offerings plus a show that kids love. It is a loud restaurant and the tables seat eight. If your group is smaller than 8, you will likely have another party seated with your group.

Teppan Edo: Interactive dinner as the show. Kids love it and if you don't have this type of restaurant near you, it is a nice change of pace. Good food but that that adventurous in flavors.

Coral Reef is not in the World Showcase, but my little one adored being able to watch the HUGE wall filled with fish, trutles, dolphins, and rays. Beautiful setting. We have eaten here often and have had very inconsistent meals, except for the steak, which is always well prepared. Seems odd that the seafood place is inconsistent with seafood, but puts out a good steak, but that is what we experienced.

I'm very interested in this topic. We're going on our first trip to Disney sept 19-23. Our first day is going to be at Epcot and we're on the DDP. None of us are picky eaters. DS will be almost 5 at the time, and SO is a total foodie. We'd like to try something we don't see everyday. We're planning to do one QS and one TS meal there.

Keep the suggestions coming so I can learn from your wisdom, oh wise ones!

For CS, Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. My daughters loved it, and I thought that the food was very good, especially the Baklava. :lmao:

For TS, we always do Akershus for breakfast our first full day of vacation. We all liked Chefs de France, as well.

We go to Biergarten every year, it's a "must-do" for us. Great music, GREAT atmosphere, and we looove the food!!!! La Hacienda had great food and it's a beautiful restaurant, but I'm not sure if the kids will love it. Teppan Edo was a great experience, and the quality of food was really great too. Le Cellier is another "must do" for us, both because we're Canadian, and because my DH is a steak fanatic. I'm not a red meat eater, and I can still find some great meals there. As for QS, we have to talk ourselves OUT of eating at the Tangierine Cafe everyday because we love it so much. Just the thought of it makes me want to jump on a plane.

It would be Biergarten for us. I've eaten at all of them but Nine Dragons in China.

For CS; it's definitely Tangierine Cafe. I think this place is better than many of the TS on property.

The best place to eat in Epcot, for both quality of food and quality of service is Bistro de Paris upstairs in the France pavilion.

It is second only to V&A of all restaurants at WDW.

Japan is my favorite place to eat at Epcot. For counter service Yakatori House and for table service Tokyo Dining.
