We will be at Epcot in the late afternoon and into the evening with a (hopefully) well-rested 2.5 year old. I was wondering what suggestions people had for a place to eat around 5pm. I am not looking to spend a lot so I think that rules out most TS places but what CS places are good? The menu's don't look that good to me. Is there anyplace just outside Epcot that is any good? Looking to spend <$30 for 2 adults. Thanks!

The CS we love are:

Tangerine Cafe but it is very ethnic and meat and potatoes people might not like the Morroccan food.

Fish and Chips window in England.

Sunshine Seasons by the Soarin ride in the Land. A variety of food and sushi for mom. Everyone in our gg was happy with this choice.

The other option might be go over to the boardwalk for spoodles pizza window or espn club or beaches and cream hambergers at BC.

The only place we've eaten at Epcot is Sunshine Seasons and liked it. We're planning on trying the Fish & Chips window in England in April. We've also heard that CS in Japan is really good too.

We LOVE eating at the Sunshine Season in the Land. Great variety of food for everyone to choose from and a large seating area so there's always enough tables.

I like the Sunshine Season at the Land as well - it also has the widest variety of foods.

The Fish and Chips in England is also really good. The Patisserie in the French pavillion is also yummy (especially if you like French pastries). The Kringla (Norway) is also good (I love the Vaffles).

I think that most of the countries have some type of counter service place. You should look up the different food places on sites like allears and see what sounds good to you.

Yet another vote for Sunshine Seasons! It's the only counter service we enjoyed at epcot! I'm not a salad person usually, but I really liked the beet and goat cheese salad.

Sunshine Seasons: the asian section w/ the strawberry shortcake for dessert. Or just multiple strawberry shortcakes as a meal. Either way, you can't go wrong.
Honestly, I would sooner eat there than several TS places I've tried. It's like a Mall Food Court. You can order from a variety of different counters, however, and just pay as you exit.
P.S. Try the strawberry shortcake...;)

I agree- Sunshine Seasons is really a great solution for everyone. We have enjoyed CS at Morocco, Japan and the potstickers at China are really tasty.

Fish and chips in england

Bratwurst and pretzels in germany are good

Quick service in mexico is good. Love their nachos and the comb platter.

I have to agree with Sunshine Seasons. It has a good variety for everyone and we have liked all the choices.

We liked the mexico counter service and the fish and chips in england. Have heard good things about the counter service in morocco, and we plan on trying it next trip. :)

We love Yakitori House in Japan and DH likes La Catina in Mexico too (I'm not into Mexican). :)
