Best place to dine @ DHS for a very little one...

Which DHS restaurant is best for a toddler (14 month old)?

  • Sci-Fi

  • 50s Prime Time Cafe

  • Mama Melrose's

  • Hollywood & Vine Character Buffet

  • Starring Rolls (grab something quick!)

My son will be a year old (14 mos) when we go to Disney. Should we avoid a sit-down restaurant? I think Sci-Fi Cafe might be really fun for him, but I know that he may not sit still.

Any recommendations?

Breakfast is the only meal I can get the baby to sit still through a full meal. And even that has to be done in timley manner. Till they old enouth to sit still its just not worth it. Eat somewhere you can leave at anytime.:rolleyes1:thumbsup2 Tina

I'd do the character meal. Buffet means its eat at your own pace, characters will give him something to look at and might even be interested in, and there is plenty of food that he will be able to eat. (Especially at breakfast.... pancakes, eggs, fruit and he's free!)

H&V - a large selection of food - nice buffet.
Would your little one eat chicken fingers ? Mac & cheese ? Fruit ? Pasta ?
H&V lunch has it all.

check out the menu - if you do it for breakfast or lunch - you get characters made for Disney Junior :goodvibes
Join Jo Jo and Goliath from Jo Jo's Circus and June and Leo from the Little
Einsteins for breakfast. Sing and dance along with your
hosts, the Playhouse Pals, as they
entertain you with interactive moments featuring everyone's
favorite Playhouse Disney songs.
