We will be @ Disney on my daughter's 5th birthday. This is her first trip to Disney!! Need suggestions on how and where to celebrate. She loves the princesses and Minnie Mouse. I don't know if we should do something princess@ Epcot or do something like Chef Mickey's. I also thought about the castle but Cinderella isn't at the top of her favorite princess ( but the castle is so neat). Also can you do anything special for their birthdays? Does Disney have a special treat you can order for birthdays? Please share any birthday ideas you have with me.
Thanks!!!!!:confused3

We did the princess meal in EPCOT purely for the princess interaction, but really enjoyed the food despite it sounding different. We have also celebrated a birthday at the Crytal Palace at Magic Kingdom with Pooh and friends and had a great time! They decorate the table and bring out a card signed by the characters and a cupcake with a candle. You can also order birthday cakes, there is a thread on this board specfic to cakes. Have a great trip!!!

We just returned home from celebrating our DD's 5th birthday at WDW on the 11th. Our DD is 100% girl. Loves the princesses and loves being pampered. We started the day with a visit to the BBB, which she absolutely loved. For dinner, she chose to eat at 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian). Dinner is a buffet and character experience with current characters being Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine, Drizella, and Anastasia. We ordered her a birthday cake (yellow cake with strawberry and vanilla custard filling) to have after we finished her birthday dinner. The cake came from the GF bakery and was delicious. Called the cake hotline to order cake.

During our trip we also ate Dinner at Chef Mickey's. Characters there were Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Goofy, and Pluto. Lot's going on at Chef Mickey's. We found that the food at this buffet was not as good as the food at 1900 Park Fare.

Best of luck to you!

I think she is eligible for a b-day gift card that she can use in the parks...I'm thinking that is why the CM's ask you what you are celebrating when making reservations, so make sure you call and get that!

Thanks everyone!!! I think we are leaning toward the princess breakfast @ Epcot and I haven't decoded what else.

Cinderella is not the favorite for my girls either. We have enjoyed breakfast in Norway with a variety of princesses! We did do the castle for breakfast - which they enjoyed - and since they met 4 princesses and Cinderella, we got a nice variety of characters there too.

You will have a great time at the place in Norway! It's a good choice! We've met Belle, Sleeping Beauty and Snow White each time we've been there. We've also met Mulan, Ariel, Jasmine and Mary Poppins there too.
