I'll be staying at the Hyatt at MCO-Orlando International the night before my upcoming cruise. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a place in the airport to buy a couple bottles of wine to take on the ship and what I might expect to pay. Thanks!

I believe the only places you can purchase alcohol in the airport (wine included) would be past the security checkpoint in the international terminal. The duty free shops.

There is a store called ABC fine wine and Spirts that will deliver to your hotel.
It's not in the airport/hotel. You would need to call them and place an order.

If you are active duty or retired military there is a Navy Exchange near by and you can buy wine and beer.

Duty-free shops (or stores) are retail outlets that are exempt from the payment of certain local or national taxes and duties, on the requirement that the goods sold will be sold to travelers who will take them out of the country

Unless you have a boarding pass for a flight leaving the country they will not sell you anything. The employees do ask for your boarding pass.
I know. That's why I said the only shops (duty free) that sell alcohol are probably past the security screening in the international terminal.

FWIW...mentioning it, without saying "but you won't be able to buy there" almost sort of kind of sounds like it's an option for the OP if the OP could get there.
I suppose I figured that OP would know that they wouldn't be able to access that area, as they wouldn't be flying internationally from the airport.

I know, expecting people to "know stuff" could be an incorrect opinion.

Thanks for the input, everyone. I won't have a car so was just wondering about availability at the airport.

If you are driving to the port, there's a Publix on Clear Lake Rd(last exit on the 528 before you get to the first bridge) that has a very good selection of wines.

I'm flying into MCO and staying at the Hyatt in the airport overnight. The next morning I'm taking DME to Port Canaveral. So, my options are limited but hopefully all this info will help someone else! Thanks again, Everyone.

LadynTramp, get a couple of wine travel bags on amazon, pack it in your luggage and hopefully this will save you a trip out of the airport and allow you to have one less task. Good luck!
